I feel like an unconventional pet like tiger or something like that would be nice in a game like this instead of dog or cat.
I'll give a list of names that the highest tier Patrons come up with + some of my own choices.
IDK where they're gonna get a tiger from, dude. Dog is probably what I'll go with it, since it's pretty logical to take a hunting dog with you out into the wilderness. A tiger would just kill them if it ever thought they would be tasty, or even if it got bored.

Or perhaps some type of bird (maybe an Eagle or Falcon). It could help them scout the area from the sky. It would be even better if you could inject the bird with the same liquid the MC drank. That way Legacy could see everything the bird sees and relay that information back to the MC. You would essentially have Eyes in the Sky.

I have to admit the game was being... well, wholesome and great so far, as a romantic game... but the plot twist of the AI into the MC is a big change in the game, and a change that worries me.

Though maybe he'd call it "a simple adaption of my personality modules"... Anyways, as you'll see in Act 2 and 3, Legacy is both critically important to the plot and will add to the wholesomeness. It's hard to see now, but that's part of the fun of telling a story where I know what happens and you all don't. Knowing what the game's theme is and where I'm going means that some of these story choices don't make sense right now, because the upcoming plot twists mean it's hard to tell where I'm actually going with Legacy.
I don't think Pandaman will add that feature to Legacy. Because Legacy is assign to people like John Wick and Luna Deluca. Legacy's job is to improve their physical strength and IQ.

For example, my introduction of Legacy as an AI in a post-apocalyptic world was a fairly obviously plot twist by Chapter 5, but when Legacy was just interrupting and crashing the game in the early chapters, it seemed like a bunch of shenanigans that didn't make sense given the world. Similarly, it's probably hard for some people (like you) to see how I can make Legacy work in a zero/low-fantasy medieval romance story. Frankly, you may never think it works, but I think seeing how Legacy's role and relationships with MC and the ladies develops throughout Act 2 and 3 will change your mind. The inclusion of some post-apocalyptic sci-fi elements doesn't mean I'm totally abandoning the medieval theme. Personally, I hope that people find it (among other things) to be a good, original twist on a pretty classic tale (the classic medieval hero story, where the poor peasant boy becomes a glorious hero and wins the princess's heart).
Lastly, just because I'm adding sexual content doesn't mean the game is going to be less wholesome or less focused on romance. There are reasons for the sexual content I've added, and you can avoid stuff like lesbian or group sex entirely if you want - you just have to pick the appropriate path. You can spin and combine all the stuff about the game into whatever narrative you want, but the game is always going to be a wholesome romantic tale. MC and Maria's romance is always going to be the center of the game and their relationship is always going to be the core relationship.
Trust me, him being inside the MC is pretty important. Besides, if he had an actual body, this thread would be overrun with "robot tentacle sex pls" and "legacy gonna NTR us gg not wholesome anymore". If the AI were going to be something like the funny and crazy friend and sidekick of "Acting Lessons" or "Being a Dik", for example, marveling at how primitive people are and making funny/ironic remarks from time to time, or even acting like narrator, it´s OK. I´m sure it could work, if there isn't an overdose of it. If the AI is going to be the 50% of the MC, telling him what to do every step, scolding him, giving him some kind of "superpowers" of seduction, or something... I don´t know, sincerely.
If you are adding the AI to the MC´s mind, you are actually changing the MC to something different, a hybrid being half human, half AI. The MC is not going to be the charming, brave and caring character so far, but another thing with the (annoying so far) AI always looking over his shoulder and conditioning one way or another his thinking and behavior... I don't think the idea works actually fine in "Cyberpunk 2077", even with the AI having a well defined and charismatic personality and Keanu Reeves as image, and being the MC ("V") a blank page without even defined sex.
You have created a charismatic main character that players can bond and relate with, and I don't think it´s a good idea to change it during the game to create another different thing. I think something external the the MC, like an anthropomorphic robot bonded to him and only him for some reason in the plot (like a mix between "Data" of Star Trek and the genius of the magic lamp) could have be a more safe idea. It could have allow the MC to continue being the MC, but with some external "magical" (in that world) help in his adventures. Having its own body, the AI could have developed more easily its "personality" and argumental arc having its own scenes and interactions with other characters, again without changing the MC's personality. Also, would have be an equally useful "tool" for you the writer, to make the plot advance when needed.
You are the writer and you have done a mighty fine work so far, so I have to give your the benefit of the doubt. I´m just expressing my concerns and opinions.
