You're right; I worded that very badly. I meant 5 different epilogues, each a part of the overall ending. I've edited my post to clarify.

Ofc there might be differences in how two separate individual playthroughs will end depending on choices made, but that isn't what separates one epilogue from the other. Each individual epilogue covers specific content; this one specifically is about curing the Remnants. Like Ozygator said, you can go back a page and follow the link I posted to see what Pandaman's listed as what each epilogue covers.

Yeah anyways, I'm still a bit confused, since the dev said "After that, I'll be working on the five epilogues. As a reminder, each epilogue chapter will be a canon, self-contained mini-story within the PoP universe."...

Soooo... yeah whatever that means lol. Ugh, I guess it's just better to wait until it finishes proper, but now I'm thinking it'll take longer than this year, so bleh...

I haven't played this first epilogue yet (catching up on other games first), but it sounds like it's pretty straightforward to me.

Epilogue 1: Mini-story covering curing the Remnants
Epilogue 2: Mini-story covering pregnancy stuff (i.e., Emilia's weird food cravings, Maria needing new clothes, or similar)
Epilogue 3: Legacy and Michael trying fun stuff with his "superpowers"
Epilogue 4: Trying new sex stuff out with different LIs (or maybe just specific ones?)
Epilogue 5: Babies (probably their births, maybe some cute moments with them, etc.)

Not sure what is making this confusing, but again, I haven't played this just-released epilogue yet. Most likely, though, think of the "mini-stories" as just more chapters, but each covering the specific topics he already outlined. But, if you're still confused for some reason, I think your idea makes sense: wait until all epilogues are finished and then just run through them all to finish the game.

Well the wording is a bit confusing... "each epilogue chapter will be a canon, self-contained mini-story within the PoP universe"... like, are they gonna be in chronological order? or just like mini-episodes dealing with those specific issues? Are there gonna be time jumps? All that sort of stuff... but yeah, I guess we'll see... I'll try to get to the first epilogue tobight and report back later.

TBH, I'd only be interested in 1, 3 and maybe 4 out of those 5, if those are still the plan, the rest seem to be more for preggo lovers, and that's not for me =P

Right, so this one kinda picks up where ch25 left off, with literally dealing with curing the two other chicks and a sex scene to cap it off (if you're on the harem path) and then it just kinda ends... I'm assuming the rest will continue in a chronological fashion with some time skips where needed... So yeah, "epilogue" is an apt term, they're not really needed as endings, they seem, to be more like add-ons or DLC. Well that's my report :p

If you're referring to the Remnant girls, I don't believe you're actually picking whether or not they are lesbian lovers. I could always be wrong on this, but my read of things is that you're just picking whether the MC embraces the idea. If he doesn't, my understanding is that they will still be lovers, but just getting intimate somewhere away from the MC.

For something that happened over 6 releases ago? Nah, you're a bit too late for demanding spoilers for that. It's like shouting about spoilers for the first Resident Evil 6 or something. There's a limit on how long it's reasonable to require use of that.

I mean, I do empathize. I promise. But...

If there's an 80-year-old who still hasn't seen Star Wars: Episode V, I think it's more on them to try to avoid spoilers than to demand everyone else avoid phrases like, "I am your father!" Obviously this isn't a length-of-time matter, so not exactly the same. But if you've not played in like 6 releases or so (or at all yet), I'm not sure why you'd be scrolling through the thread. And if you have already played up to at least Chapter 21, you'd already know what's being discussed.

Note: This is all my opinion, nothing is from the Dev. Some of it I hope might be being considered already though... ;)

The epilogues will wrap up the current situation, seemingly in bite-sized increments, with The Remnant: 1) scouting and building a new town/home for themselves; 2) being cured of the plague; and 3) working to set up trading of metal with the islanders.

However, there seems to be a big conflict brewing between the Ecclsiarchy and the Inquisitors. The High Ecclesiarch did not appear to be aware of the Inquisitor attack on the mansion and did not seemed thrilled to hear about it. I think there might be a rift forming between the two leading factions that could very easily expand to conflicts. Namely with the Remnants over giving up part of their island, agreeing to trade with them, and the agreement for men to help repopulate them once cured.

I think there's a lot of open threads that I hope can be pulled into a very interesting sequel story. Cramming all of that into 5 bite-sized epilogues, in my opinion, will be to do a disservice to the threads still left open.

Yeah I feel like this is just chapter 2 in an epic saga at least 14 books long
