Happy April everyone! Hope you're doing well. I have a few things I want to cover here, so let's get started!
Firstly - the polls. Thank you to everyone who voted and commented! Here are the results:
Poll 1) Splitting focus between epilogues and Game 2 won 56-44
Poll 2) Providing info about Game 2 over time won 57-43
Poll 3) Handholding beat headpats by a resounding 75-25
Based on your feedback, I'll begin working on learning Blender and getting things going for Game 2, so that there's less of a downtime between the completion of the epilogues and the first releases of Game 2. I'll also begin releasing information about the new game over time as I finalize things. There'll be a few more polls for your feedback in the future, but nothing immediately; right now, I'm focusing on foundational/fundamental stuff for the new game.
Now, here are the game updates!
PoP - Work on Epilogue 2 is slightly ahead of schedule, so we should definitely have a release in mid-May. I've swapped the order of the epilogues slightly, so the second epilogue will be about a fun project you and Legacy work on together. It's definitely more on the fun end of things compared to the previous one, and I think it'll be really enjoyable to see the characters in a more casual/relaxed setting vs. saving the world.
Game 2 - There will be two cute elf LIs, one of whom will be redheaded. If you like cute elf girls, this will absolutely be a game for you. If not... You should change your preferences to include liking cute elf girls.
Lastly, some Patreon updates. I'm notifying everyone
now in advance (and will post reminders in the future) that I'll be changing the names of the tiers and adjusting benefits when we get to Game 2. I'll probably cap the number of $3 tier subscribers at something like 100 total, which should be enough for everyone who can only contribute $3/mo. The reason is that Patreon fees at the $3 tier are proportionally pretty high, so I'm not getting much of that cash. I'm still going to keep it around for now, but I'll just be capping the number who can subscribe at that tier.
Once we get started on Game 2, I'll also be removing the paid-for PoP special render posts and moving them to a separate, single ZIP file that can be purchased for $5.
However, I will make that ZIP available to
anyone who was subscribed at the $5+ tiers for several months before
and after that change, so that you don't lose any of your old benefits and can easily access all the PoP special renders. I'm making this change so that I can fully transition over the Patreon from PoP to Game 2 while making sure that people who have supported the development of PoP can still have access to what they paid for.
