New Version has arrived. We have now hit 1.0 according to the Dev.

Now can someone please supply the new Cheat Code? I hate that I've paid for this on Steam but I don't get the Cheat Code.

I've paid for this once I'm not paying a second time.

I recommend using chest engine... You can do a lot of stuff with it and don't earn badges at the same time.
Cheat engine with rpgm games? MTool does a better job with less headache.

I would still like the code for 3 Reasons.
Yeah, these cheats are also some fine presets tailored to just this game (like actions to make changes to all the princesses without some fuckery)
Though MTool is still useful (noclip/teleport/fast money or inventory change/character level change/etc.), just don't use speedhack as it breaks the game (disable it in 'key settings' > 'hold to speed up')

So in a nutshell, Tower decided to facilitate jumping ship if they don't want to keep developing by arbitrarily saying the game is a finished 1.0 release. That is not concerning at all, surely! I guess we must be ready to fire up the modding factories if things go south.

Well it's lose-lose since he's long since been milking the early access grift from the teats of the cow's GHOST. I was hoping the core girls would all get full routes, but kinda lost hope after some of the ones we got were barebones.

Normally I'd be fine with devs deciding their own pace and scope but it's stuff he promised and well he's seen a lot of success based off those promise so I dunno, always feels a bit scummy to me.

But either way this game shoulda been done like 4 years ago, probably sooner.

In all honesty, I was kind of hoping for some more NPC/Progeny interactions as the game updated. :confused:
Maybe it's because of how I tried to play the game, and I also get that it's a part of the game, but the constant declaring war from the Princesses just kept pushing me away from really caring about protecting any of them. XD

You need more diplomacy. Push come to shove use the NG candies to raise it. Right now in my game, I'm on the second month and not only are there no wars even with the mermaids, but no one is even upset with each other.
If you don't want to use the candies, ending wars through making peace raises diplomacy as well as some other methods. Keep at it, get some slaves/companions to use as affinity batteries and eventually you'll be able to enjoy some peace.....until the mermaids attack.

If anyone want to recruit alice, you have a hard time
1. you need to find 2 dolls, "broken glass" located next to an urn in the city where dragon princess 3 sleeps, "rotten yarn" (can't find it, need help!) (if anyone know where it is, answer to this comment.)
2. to each doll you need a "soul urn" (2 in total)
3.her location is in the kingdom below, need a companion who can fly or cucco wings for the island, then go to the crater, jump in, then follow the road straight up (you need mace to break the wall), go to the toy reign, there's 3 small tent, go for the above left one with 2 small sack in it, go in there, and a giant doll appears, talk to her, during the conversation she mentions "sacrifice", then you get the quest "the doll coven"

All I know is that she's not in the lands below. I forgot the hint she gave and the quest just says "Far far away from the Toy Park". So far I've checked: Human slums, sewers, forest with the giant chicken, cave near golem princess, pond, beach, area where spider princess lives, mouse areas, moth forest, fairy forest and ghost princess mansion/garden.

My current guess is she's somewhere in the lands above (in the sky) since that would be the farthest from the lands below.

Here's an incremental update archive for people running my mkxp-z release who don't want to redownload the whole game to update. Just drop the archive in your Updates folder (mkxp-z should have made it on first run) and delete last update's patch from your Patches folder. The archive does not need extracted. Let me know if you're running an older version and want more updates, I can get them for you.

Tower edited a few fonts so he could put a tradesnark in Toy Princess's name, so I recommend extracting them from the update archive and adding them to the game's Fonts folder, although mkxp-z should use the ones from the archive. Joiplay won't, though, so it does need the replacement.

I've also updated mkxp-z and the script pack, so grab those, too.

Joiplay users:
Long press the game in Joiplay, choose settings, and turn OFF the path cache and prebuilt path cache. Since Joiplay's path cache takes so long to generate and can't handle updates, I've MADE MY OWN. It should generate a lot faster, and can handle putting my update archives in the Updates folder. The script should be compatible with all but a few Pokemon Essentials games that load 7z archives if you want to use it elsewhere, just copy preload.rb and preloader_mkxp_updater.rb to the other game and Joiplay will load them. If the game already has a preload.rb, make a folder called dynamic_scripts, make a folder inside that called dynamic_preload, and put the other preload.rb in there.






in case Pixeldrain doesn't work for you. Expires after a week or two.

game has always been a mess even on pc no way it even remotely playable on a phone...
Joiplay is based on mkxp, which uses OpenGL instead of software rendering, so it actually runs better. The controls suck, though.

A quick peek at the code says she's at the Cat Docks.

Not yet, just the frame work for 1.0 is done. Now it's just filling in the blanks.
It isn't 1.0 quality until all these undone routes get finished, whatever number they decide to use be damned.
We'll be waiting a while, unfortunately, because now Tower's going back to Down the Neko Hole. (jk, he's probably forgotten it exists by now)

there are some most likely not relevant warnings before, and then it crashes on user32, part of win32 from what i can gues. Anyone has any idea how might i be able to fix it?

I assume works with mkxp-z, since some posts are even mentioning it working better, but i can't find any mentions of anyone making it run under linux

never mind, figured it out
i wasn't applying win32 preload, so it just crashed

dynamic_scripts from Terrec work, but not fully. it never gets to mounting the zip at 98 preloader_mkxp_updater.rb, nor dose it make Updates/, but since it's called the rescue path from 444 preload.rb dosen't trigger.
Quick note: this might be me not understanding ruby, but i don't think you can mount zip files on linux?

  • Fixed the player being unable to switch active character after using the Progeny "Charge!" skill
  • Fixed Gazewalk being interrupted by the Human Courtesan 100% of the time (-> around 15% now)

Looking at the script, I currently have it configured to not mount anything on vanilla mkxp-z with the path cache enabled; I should probably change that. The build for Windows that I'm giving everyone is a custom one with improvements I haven't felt like submitting PRs for - mostly optimizations for the path cache and improvements for text appearance. If you want to use vanilla mkxp-z, then I recommend turning off the path cache, it'll switch to using my ruby-based one that I made for Joiplay.

I just made an AppImage of my build for you, which you can get at my Mega or Pixeldrain, but if you'd rather build it youself I could send you a patch with the changes.
