And there are millions of hc movies everywhere for instant fapping.

But there are still some ppl (like me), who are longing for games with depth and some kind of intellectual claim.
Exceptional ones like that are extremely rare, and I love that the dev is doing well with it.

The good thing is, players tastes are different, and there is stuff for every ones taste.

It's not like this is some BG3 level of freedom here. Just repetition of visiting her, go to kitchen, visit her again etc. It kind of makes sense in the story, but the gameplay is not exactly fun or have surprises in store.

May I ask you why do you feel the need to create so much gameplay for this porn game? I am not being confrontational just curious. Is it something done to extend play time or do you need meatier gameplay to feel creatively fulfilled. I have wondered for years why not just focus on the porn and make all of the gameplay depth to exclusively service the porn like in Witch Trainer where you have interface to call Hermione to your office and non-porn mechanics like writing reports for money is done with a single mouse click.

Yeah and we are already on the same path with the new version. I just saw in the 2.0 thread they are talking about a whole system of how long the princess' pubes are and maintaining them and using the shavings for potions lmao.

Bro... did you forget about the whole "you will be able to make her gain or lose weight based on how you feed her" system that you realized was unnecessarily complicated, and never actually delivered? JFC. Maybe, just maybe, get the basics up and running first?

This is classic ADHD dev behavior - OH here's a cool idea, oh another one! Oh and then I could do xyz, that would be awesome, and maybe abc, and and and - please stop. Framework first then add extra shit if you are so inclined.

he is talking about the game (incl. things to expect), not about a single scene from a demo.

Seems a bit disingenuous to tell people this is on hold - the dev has moved on to a remake of the game. I highly, highly doubt he has any intention of coming back and finishing this one (which is a broken buggy mess and you never get to fuck the princess or do 90% of the things promised/alluded to, so don't get your hopes up.)

From a F95 perspective, it will indeed take a while before this gets flagged as abandoned. But in reality, this is dead dude. He is not coming back to work on it lol.

I personally share your view: The chance that it will not get finished might be bigger (but I could be wrong).
(... and many would appreciate when he is focussing on the second game).

My guess is that after 18 months, it will switch from "on hold" to "abandoned", automatically, and according the rules.

The game was marked Abandoned by F95 staff, and I recently updated it to Onhold myself. Like I mentioned on my Patreon two months ago: Princess in the Tower I is currently on hold.

Because of its chaotic foundation and limitations, it won’t be finished with all the originally planned content and features. The story will be completed in about 3 final updates, featuring new, higher-quality animations and some minimal extra gameplay.
