What the fuck is this some new kind of kink that I don't know of :HideThePain:
Far from new, it's an enema. Generally (in real life) you have to wash out the anus before sex, otherwise it's a giant poop soup as a result of anal (and likely will be anyway). You rarely see it outside of urine / scat fetish porn since shit is generally not considered sexy by most people. Hentai games will fairly often include it in scenes though (probably since drawn versions are less gross).

Not a fan of it myself, but learned about it from logic and some unfortunately un-tagged games in the past.

I tried my best and playtested the first part of the game (Opening, first village Aberden, first city Glasbaran, running around, accepting quest, collecting items, fighting in the dungeons, etc.) I tried to make sure that the story makes sense, also in terms of translation. Some people actually played it and got no complaints so far.

So yes, it is translated using DeepL - but i put some effort into it, so it's not just some word spaghetti making no sense at all. For example DeepL often gives you two translated options/versions and if it is not working it just puts out "I don't know what to do" and stuff - i clearly made sure that this is not the case in this project.

This is my first "100% translated project" and english is not my motherlanguage, bare with me.
Your effort is truly appreciated, however I personally think that your method should still be classified as "Edited MTL". At the end of the day, even DeepL can't get all the sentences properly and if you don't know Japanese catching the error with game's context alone would be borderline impossible.

Hey, ya know, coming from another fan translator (one who actually writes for a living), I really appreciate it.

Sure, I can tell you may be ESL, and you might have some contextual, grammar, or spelling errors in the translation, or may even have broken something in the game by translating. But I just wanted to say I respect the effort. There are so many trash MTLs floating around that clearly have little to no effort in making them, and even some "edited MTLs" are just MTLs with QA to prevent anything from breaking (or are partial translations, as described by ULMF as essentially game menus and non-story/dialogue text translated).

However, this is really what the community needs and should be grateful for here. Someone who puts in the work to try translating rather than pressing a button for an MTL, ya know? So while I don't really care about the game itself (as it's not my fetish or style), nor do I expect your translation to be perfect (since you're ESL and since this is your first translation), I do hope you continue to strive in additional translation projects, and that the community admires what you've done. Keep it up.

Sadly that doesn't happen a lot here. Thank you.

It was more then just pressing a button. I'm gonna try listing what i did:

  • Used DeepL and Google Translate
  • Searched Japanese words that made no sense in the translation with Google Picture Search (to know what the word stands for and what it means, what i have to deal with and how does it fit in the story of the game)
  • Playtested it as much as i could to make sure the story isn't totally fucked up because of the translation
  • Sometimes even did "Japanese -> English -> German -> English" just to make sure the translated part made sense in some kind of way
  • Carefully edited only the needed parts of all the Scripts so that there (hopefully) will no game-breaking bugs or crashes (Thanks to Shisaye again for helping me getting the Quest Journal to work correctly)
  • Applied word-wrap manually, not automatically with TL++
