Love the writing, the humor, the atmosphere, the worldbuilding.
The art is cute and endearing. In 0.9, I had not too much problem finding out how to whack with a ruler (there was some confusion and complaint about that, maybe this could be improved a bit; but I would definitely prefer if the developer invested his time in, e.g., adding content instead). Apart from that the whole interface is intuitive and fits well to the atmosphere.

Well, after the praise let's get to the wish list: I would love to see substantially different endings (even if only in the form of prose epilogues) depending on choices in the game (currently it seems that more or less one story development is planned, with different attitudes / behavior of the protagonists but no dramatic change in outcome?) I find that both MC and princess are great protagonists you can relate to; and while the (really well written) backstory is on the bleak side and the MC understandably cynical, there still seems to be potential for more than one development of the story.
So while others have praised the (potential for) real trainer mechanics as opposed to VN-storytelling, and while the author seems to spend much of his time (hopefully not sanity) to write a non-VN in renpy, I for one would be perfectly happy with a lot more story; to the extent that I would actually much prefer to have different storylines where any actual fucking only happens in the prologue of some of the endings, as opposed to a game where you work until you have enough credit for a multitude of views of multitudes of penetrations with multitude objects of various orifices, and the games ends with the unlocking of the elusive "anal double fisting while submerged in jelly achievement" or whatever and does not offer any real story development / explanation / expansion of the background.
