Just a little FYI. If certain talks get out of hand/off topic/etc that you feel is wrong or not warranted then click the little report button at bottom of the specific reply and just report them. If F95 agrees with your report then there reply/chat will be removed. Problem solved :)
Don't let beta testers get you down. We are lucky that we can sample these games.

like i say, thread are here for discuss about the game. not dev decision.
i justsay that to avoid eventually thread to go beserk...
better safe than sorry.

those dev decisions affect how the game ends up. In all fairness, this game doesn't fit this site in my opinion. It's just a porn tube pretending to be a game, and it has like 2 videos (a bit more, but you get the idea).

This is a piracy site right? Why even have a game up that you can't pirate. If people can't experience the game without paying, the discussion will be focused on that fact. And rightfully so, in my opinion.

An updated "review" (don't waste your time or money on this game for now);
You can get the full experience by watching a 5 minute pornhub video of all the poses, and that's it! You've experienced all there is to experience. No wonder the dev doesn't give a free demo, there's not even enough content to justify downloading a free version let alone paying for it. By having a pretty much completely locked demo, he can trick people into thinking there's more content than there actually is. Now he has people buying the game, and some of them are most likely to lazy to do a refund/credit card chargeback when they realize they game contains NOTHING.

This game feels like those crappy android shovelware apps, no substance what so ever.

While I might be harsh, I do not think the developer deserves the benefit of doubt since it doesn't seem to be a passion project , based on his actions and words, rather than a quick way to cash in on the patreon lewdgame wave.

I'll happily be proven wrong, but I doubt it.

To the people that have blueballs after downloading this "game" and are interested in a furry/feral scene builder/character creator I recommend yiffaliscious 2, while in a early stage it's made by an experienced team and is very promising, and is pretty much guaranteed to be finished. It has much more of a learning curve. If you simply want a game without having to mess around with posing models and such then Feral Island is another promising, easy to pirate game more similar to this one where the developer is clearly passionate about what he's doing (and technically skilled based on his forest enviroment demo, seriously it looks like it's from a modern AAA game).

EDIT: I don't understand why the dev doesn't make sfm/blender videos instead. That's pretty much what this game is besides the ui and interactive pose variations. He could make more money for less work time, and in the end produce similar or identical content.

I'm just curious about how much data this dev is collecting and what he does with it. You obviously have to connect to a server of his choice to get access to his content, which is suspect to say the least for a "game" of this category.

Does he sell the data to third parties? Is it secure? Will he (or some hacker that got through his 4 bit encryption) use it for blackmail purposes? These are questions we should ask ourselves when people want us to connect to their servers to get our rocks off.

Don't like it, don't download it, don't spend time on the post. I can understand his point of view, pirating is nice for us, but it's not very good for the people making the game is it? Be reasonable towards his decision, even if you hate the paywall.
I personally will wait until more content is released towards the free public, and that's all there is to it...

I know that a lot of people have complained about the paywall, and I myself have made a couple of comments on it to point out the problems. But now that the dev has finally stated that the paywall will not be removed, I think that all of us should just drop it and let what happens to the game happen.

The time for constantly bitching about it, as some have done, has passed. The game is not going to be changed, so everyone should just move on to another game and let the subject go.

It's expected that other people will make those very same comments as they too discover the game and realize that very same problem. So there is really no need for those who have already made those comments to repeat them.

It's his game, his financial risk and his decision...

A lot of devs that made it because of piracy would like a word with you for your "it's not very good for the people making the game is it ?"

For AAA games I would agree but for something like porn games where you can't really market your game piracy is a marketing choice, why do you think so many devs are releasing their games here ?

This dev wants the free marketing but without the piracy by releasing a game that can't be pirated on a piracy forum which is disingenuous to f95 community and every dev that release their games for free here.

People could pirate it if they wanted too. But likely there is not enough content to make it worthwhile, or they don't like what they saw.
To pirate it you need access to all of the data, which means paying one time to the dev so you can get access. A skilled hacker can save the files that were downloaded during game play and then change a few parameters in the game, so that instead of connecting to the server to get the content, it instead goes to a folder on your computer to get it.

Do you know how antivirus programs work?) Since the application is server-based and sends requests to the SERVER, which of the antiviruses decided that it was a trojan. As you can see, it’s worth including the script language interpreter in the executable file, as soon as you get “Trojan. General ”,“ Suspicious ”,“ PHP ”,“ HackTool ”and so on. If you don’t understand, do a manual analysis in the disassembler) 1 out of 70 antiviruses just decided that some piece of code is similar to some kind of virus and developers often come across this.

Keep discussion to gameplay! Taking runs at each other and discussing the topic of Piracy do not belong in a game thread.

No need to be patronising dude. I posted that information because I wanted to know more about it. Not saying that this was not a false positive. Thanks you for your explaination.

edit : I did not see your next message. No problem :)

I am not so sure your assertion holds water. Many of the top projects are bringing in $2,000-$12,000 per month on Patreon despite the fact they are all available here, in their entirety. There simply is no validity to the arguments that games being posted here diminishes the revenue over-all, because they find exposure to a vastly larger audience of potential patrons than they would otherwise and there are always plenty of people that happy to support QUALITY projects. Clearly, making no money has far more to do with a lack of quality or, broad enough appeal, than it does with availability.
Paywalls simply never work - Any measured comparison of the revenue streams bares that conclusion.

Having said that, however, I do agree with your thesis even though the assertion used to validate said thesis is flawed. Complaining about such things is pointless, and people should simply ignore something if it does not, for any reason, appeal to them.
