Overview:
The year is ~2200. On a remote mining outpost, a mysterious parasite is causing a severe outbreak that is quickly turning into an humanitarian crisis. Reports of violence, madness and mutations have forced the local government to enact a total lockdown of the settlement.
A team of specialists has been dispatched to contain this threat, find out where this organism came from and hopefully reestablish order.​

why is there like a hiden timer that kicks me back to the title screen. like come on man that sucks, i would like to do more with out a timer. and i was mostly in base just walking around getting used to the controls and checking my settings and binds. can we get a version without the timer.

Previews looks really good. 3D games usually disappoints but hopefully this one will becomes something good at future even if not now.

Already found an issue with the new game I think. If you drop a box near a ladder, you can't pick it back up. The game prioritizes the ladder over other objects for like 5 feet away from it.

Man, timed demos are obnoxious. Not like the game has much content to try out. It just makes bug testing more annoying.

Breasts on the new character seem like implants, too rounded at the top and sides (Orb like). They're nearing "bolt on" appearance. Guess that's pretty common with this dev, I didn't remember it with section 7.

Combat seems pretty good so far though. Hope the content can keep up with it. Although the melee is a little inconsistent with when hits land, it's pretty satisfying to whack enemies down. Bobbing and weaving to avoid hits is pretty decent too, though it might be a bit too difficult right now to disengage from melee. It feels a bit weird to suddenly be slower than enemies when you close in on them. You pretty much have to kill enemies to get them off you since you back away and turn so slowly. It's not a drastic change that's needed, just maybe tweaked a bit. Obviously if it's too easy it makes dodging less necessary. Could be a roll option or something that creates more distance but uses a lot of energy? When wildly swinging at multiple enemies is the better option over disengaging, something might need some tweaks lol.

Content wise: Not much if anything has changed or was added. Wait for Alpha/Beta, the current version is simply a blockout of the map as stated and a test environment.

Ain't going to lie, personally bummed out, but I'll wait nontheless.

The way the game plays, did change to some extent. The setting probably will too.

Instead of a abandoned space ship/station, it now seems to be a city section, or a city station.
The game uses UI system similarly if not the same, as found in The Division.

Yeah, the ladder interaction problem has already been reported, sadly couldn't fix in time for this version, there is actually an elevator to bring boxes back to base, ladders are not supposed to be used while carrying boxes, but the interaction priority was not anticipated (added to known bugs).

As for the melee gameplay, is beign actively tewaked based on feedback, so you will see incremental improvements down the line...

Yes and in the span of only 2 years: experimenting with different builds and genres is part of the development, even if in this case there was an hardware faliure that forced the dev's hands (see this thread for more infos about it).
