update(s)?Since there seems to be a bit of misunderstanding, I would like to clarify things one more time regarding the current state of the game and its development.
The game known as Project Extermination: Operation Ground Zeroes has settled on the final title Rogue Protocol and has landed on Steam with its TBA page, keys have already been distributed to the "Veteran" backers through a Discord and Patreon campaign.
The crowdfunding has reached its goals and Patreon has been closed, budget has been reserved for the game, if you want to keep following the game's development you can check the official Twitter account or the Discord, you can find the links in theYou must be registered to see the linkspage (while you check it, don't forget to add to your wishlist and follow).
The game is a a third person action-adventure with survival and horror elements and will feature a large open world map subdivided in different areas with different biomes and gameplay loops; the game will not feature adult elements out of the box, but it is built with modularity and modding in mind, a fully optional adult module will be built by a trusted third party as an unofficial integration, official modding tool will eventually be release for further customization and are planned to be made publicly available after launch.
This was done to provide a game that could appeal to a wider audience, while retaining its original promises and avoiding getting country wide bans on those location where pornography is highly restricted.

Regarding the older iteration of this game known as Project Unknown: Section 7: that PoC has evolved and has become this game, its core mechanics will be integrated between the base game and the adult module of Rogue Protocol.
Regarding the spin off known as Project Elimination: The Forbidden Planet: that game is being rebuilt by the adult artist in charge of delivering the adult module for Rogue Protocol, recycling assets provided by Matto for Rogue Protocol. It was first intended to be just a test bench for integration mechanics, but it has since become its own thing. It is currently in scope to be marketed on Steam with the same format of Rogue Protocol (SFW main game + adult module) with the tentative title of EXEUnit or Rogue Patrol. Hey, is this the latest version from the creator's Patreon, or is it the latest public version? (emphasis on "public").
Because, as far as I remember, there was a more advanced version of this, from the stuff I'd been posting on X.
I haven't been keeping up with this post either, I just want to know if there's a better version than what's here, and if so, is it still available on any subscription platforms?

AFAIK there's another build that didn't get published here cause it doesn't contain any sex scene, only to demostrate new combat / physic animation
With the new rules in steam, this game (if ever released...which i doubt it) is DOA.
It seems basically the new rules are: you arent allowed to add NSFW content once released a game, neither by update or DLC. Under the risk of being delisted. I know supposedly the NSFW content is a mod but no idea how much Steam gonna enforce such rule since the mod has the creator approval and can lead to sanctions, everything is speculation but first he need to deliver the base game, which again... i doubt we ever see it.

Think they used to collaborate with Matto/Gatto at some point for their projects before splitting up.
Good to see the inspiration still carrying through though in the bug design.

F95's tag system marks things abandoned after a set amount of time passes where the original post isn't update with new game versions. It does not mean its actually abandoned, just not updated here. And yes, Matto/Gatto are still active on their discords, posting update pictures and such. Just not demo/test builds anymore.
If it ever gets add i wonder how the sex animations be like.

Cleaning his hands of any NSFW works in the past to make a nicer portfolio going forward, iirc.
The NSFW mod that'll be released after the main game is released isn't even being developed by Matto.

I liked what it had so far; I wish there was more animations and for a game like this I would like there to be towns and NPCs to blackmail me and offer my help and safety by giving up my body but alas, I will have to keep looking for other games.

That seems very specific. You are probably better off modding Skyrim or Fallout 4. I'm certain Loverslab has that for Skyrim and very likely for FO4 too. Plus once you're done wanking you keep playing a decent game.
