Yep, just been hit by the Trust & Safety team, I'm just in the middle of the shitstorm for now, trying to see what I'll have to change on their site and in the game. Though the Patreon page is pretty clean, I always took care of that.

So for now, they pointed me out the incest and bestiality part, for the bestiality part, it won't be hard to just do a patch, it would be harder for the incest part, since it's more intricate and complex, so I'm trying to see if I can make it by changing the kids or at least Marc to step son. It would need some changes in the story, but it would be the lesser evil.

I might be completely wrong here, but it's possible they can also object to rape and any hard drugs (if you plan to add them later).
My advice is that you prioritise setting up a robust mechanism to enable/disable anything controversial for your next update and take the story progression separately.

btw Zorlun i am almost 100% sure that anything step related is also not allowed on patreon same with niece nephew cousin and adopted i can too a certain degree understand the policy, but it is still weird in many western countries some or all of these are actually not illegal e.g. where i am from cousin and niece is not illegal and there are countries in europe where even sister/brother is allowed, but ofc there are places in the world that is much more strict. I personally recommend just switching too landlady/tenant and let modders worry about patch its easy and patreon allow that.

Seconded. From what I've gathered floating around here, I can say with enough certainty that Patreon already frowns at 'step'-stuff. Personally, I'd recommend against taking that risk.

yeh i know you have asked them about it, just giving a heads up that they will most likely not accept it and that switching just mother/son and daughter too landlady/tenant fix it, and there will be no need too change anything in the story. I will also warn you that it happends that developers get reported too patreon, if patreon find that you have talked about this subject, even outside patreon they can still ban you, when they implemented these rules it happend too some developers.

You have a few pictures on the first page, you have some of nearly every update.

This variable happen when: Myriam intervened during update ch2.05 when she catch Marc jerking off at the home made porn; and in this update ch2.07 in the rare case of Myriam waking up in Marc's bedroom with a high Willpower stat.
This variables overlap the other of Marc, being on the "dom", "sub" or "trust" roads, whatever the case, when Myriam intervened, this road stop for now and bring back Marc on the "normal" one with a simple mother/son relationship.

There is four roads for Marc: "dom", happen in the laundry room if Myriam chose to be submissive; "sub", happen in the laundry room also if Myriam chose to be dominant; "trust", happen before the laundry room on the couch if Marc play the "it's just a dream card"; and "normal", happen if Myriam put back Marc in place in the laundry room and in a way if she intervened like I said on your first question (in fact they are still on their road, but put to "sleep" for now).
On update ch2.07, if Myriam return from the gala shitfaced, two things can happen: if Marc is on the "dom" or "trust" roads and Myriam hasn't intervened during ch2.05, he will bring Myriam to his bedroom; or if Marc is on the "normal", "sub" roads or either on "dom" or "trust" roads if she intervened, Marc will bring her to her bedroom, just coping a feel if he's on the "dom" road.

If Myriam chose to follow "good" characters, like William, she'll be able to get out of the hands of some more "bad" characters, but with a limit, each roads will have some threshold where Myriam can go back, or it will engage in some closed ending roads if she pursue past them.

No, this variable can happen if Marc is on the "trust" road, so the trait the most important will be Trust (and Lust in second).

As other plot lines, this ones may have some endings depending on the choices.

As I built my next update (meaning ch2.08), which will bring a close to chapter 2, you will have an occasion for a lesbian naughty scene with Lucy.

Don't be surprised if such a thing happens. If they did not, they might be accused of condoning this kind of content, and they can't have that, can they ?

I am sure that many of those who are here, if your work continues in the same direction that you are doing, they will make bank transfers to you.

It´s easier to create a separate and differentiated bank account than change your work. In the end and I am telling to you from my personal experience, you will end up not liking your own work. You know why? Because it won´t be the work that you have thought but something else that those censors have imposed to you.

Your creative freedom is reduced and with it your work is no longer yours.

Don't change it. Reveal yourself and send them to hell, maybe you'll be surprised and get similar amounts without that bunch of moralistic censors.

Yes, in a way, it goes with the experimental side of Project Myriam as my first project, it's a learning adventure and definitely an annoying one at the time with Patreon censure, but in the end, it'll help do a better job in the future with my next game.

At least you don't have to re-render graphics. Search and replacing names with variables isn't too tough. Just create a 'character.rpy' that a player could easily swap out with someone else's 'custom' file. I would imagine someone here would do that for you - just to keep you on track with the project.

Important note: You will have to start again from the start with this update!

(Sorry for that but there was no way around, I added some variables during some earlier choices in the game to add more flavor to a scene of the update. I also made easier some choices that caused some problems in early game.)

It will be the next one that could be delayed, I'm working on it while working on cleaning up Patreon and the next version of the game, creating a patch, so it may delay me a little.

I thought so, like if I was making two games, but I don't want either to punish my patrons on Patreon, so I have to find a way to give them 100% of the game too, this is why I'm working on a patch right now.

Zorlun, I can confirm what someone else said, there are games (you can find them even here, that is where I found them) where the author simply changed mother to step-mother, son to step-son, daughter to step-daughter...

Effectively, even better I think for you, there is some game in which at the start, the game just asks what one wants to call the character, proposing the "acceptable" version (even the one that makes some dialogues sound weird, like the "tenant" someone already mentioned), but still letting the person insert whatever text they want.

I say "even better", because "thinking code", probably what the author of that game did was just do a search and replace i nteh game "as is" (i.e. with the mother-son scenes) and where there was, e.g. the literal value "son", replaced it with a variable, then added at the start of the code the code so the game asks, as I already mentioned, how the player wants to define the relationship (effectively, define the variable).
I did not try to look at your code, but that may allow you to change things, without having really to change pretty much anything on the story, and without even requiring a patch.

The bestiality would still be a "problem" for Patron though - but you wrote you already know how you can take care of that (and hoping they don't object in future to any lewd content linked to the horse riding, the little river/pool, and the "audience" enjoying Myriam's swimming, if you see what I mean ;-))
