Yeah, that's one of the issues with this style of branching game, where pretty much every scene is treated as a self-contained episode.

Depending on player choices Myriam may have spent a few days plugged airtight by strangers or knee-deep in horse cock or exploring a new Lesbian awakening orrrrrr just lounging about not doing anything in particular, or any combination of the above. You'd expect that to have some sort of impact on her (and very occasionally there is a line or two acknowledging some of it), but most of the time she just comes up to the next scene fresh as a daisy.

Having every scene account for every past event would be great for immersion, but an absolute nightmare to write and code, so the dev has to strike some sort of balance.

Pretty much this. Zorlun would need a whole studio like Bioware to do some Mass Effect/Dragon Age style of choices and consequences.

Speaking for myself i am happy with the level of choices already ingame, they are a lot more in quantity and complexity than what the average indie porn game usually contains.

Preview Scene - Chapter 4 - Thankful Thoughts - part 2
Here's the preview for the first scene of the update... a big one, really three scenes into one in fact, though sadly it will depend on previous choices, so it may be shorter for some, but that's the downside of choices. ^^Â
First part is about Myriam sending some thanks for everyone having sent thoughts during her hospitalization, leading a potential important choice on one fateful person later on. Following directly, Myriam will be catching Katherine trying to sneak out her friend(s) out, leading to some funny and awkward conversation and character development between everyone involved.Â
Во второй части рассказывается, как Мириам отправляется на пробежку с Кассиусом, пытаясь вернуться в форму после госпитализации. Немного общения с ее верным питомцем Кассиусом и немного исследований в большом старом центральном парке.
Третья часть будет больше зависеть от предыдущего выбора: Мириам долго будет принимать теплую ванну, чтобы расслабиться, а затем либо увидит визит Марка (что приводит к двум возможным вариантам), либо Мириам просто бездельничает в своей ванне, может быть, навсегда.
С другой стороны, это будет спокойнее, чем предыдущее обновление, только с двумя возможными сценами с Марком в зависимости от выбора и сценой с Кассиусом в парке. А также немного дразнящих и горячих моментов от нашей дорогой Мириам.

Just finished my first playthrough of this. For being a VN with 3d assets... it's surprisingly good, even with an author for whom English isnt their first language. A lot of typos in the text, but still good enough that I was able to get really invested. Looking forward to more! I hope there's more content on the way where miriam can be in charge without going full dom. Love me a loving power bottom.

Based on your previous two posts in this thread, I'm not convinced.

I'm mostly annoyed that f95 created a previously smaller problem, and now everyone has to deal with countless more inquiries...it gets old fast, but I don't blame the people

You didn't say that, but by defending the site by calling all these people lazy, you are indirectly defending the sites decision to prematurely pull the trigger on this change.

I also never said anything about an imaginary problem. I was talking about a very real problem, which is the problem of people being too lazy to use the search engine which was provided for them, and then asking other people to do their work for them.

If you don't want a thing bad enough to go and find it, even when they make it easy for you, then you don't want it bad enough to have it.

Telling other people they are gaslighting you, means you are telling the person the problem is imaginary or fake. The problem the site created by making this change without being ready to implement their master plan of adding a new section in OP's and also admitting they don't have a way forward for it as of yet, is not imaginary and the impact is literally seen in nearly every game thread on this site.

I will admit I took your very first response more directly than it was intended and more targeted than it was likely intended in the first place, so I accept the bulk of this back and forth as a bit of miscommunication and apologize for that and any aggravation I displayed by my response to that. But, it doesn't make the problems they created any less true or real. I hope that makes more sense.

That's fine, but Smartphones show no Signatures in vertical mode, only when you hold it horizontal and many people set signatures to off because some guys have really annoying sigs with blinky blinky stuff or you have to scroll through it, to get to the next post and just don't let us forget about the people who do no reading just asking...
