For anybody interested (someone asked already, though I don't remember how many pages of posts ago, Myriam has quite an active following :-D), if everything goes well and there is no hiccup, health stuff, or whatever else, this week-end for the update to the patch I make.
Just discovered this game and am really enjoying it.
Are there ways to take Myriam down "darker" paths? Eg, staying with Anthony, somehow exploiting the "addiction" trait, or continuing to fulfill her "forced" fantasies?
Yes and no. It is possible for her to stay with Anthony, but that may bring to a earlier end of the game - though Zorlun has not yet implemented the endings, so, at the moment, you reach the point where she stays with him, but cannot go forward in that path.
About forced, is another yes and no. There is a situation where Myriam is basically blackmailed
(Jarvis) , so that can be considered forced (though notice she has more than one option to avoid or get out of it). Also, there are a number of situations were someone pushes and Myriams gives in following her submissive side or her "starting as motherly protective ending up as submissive" way/path and eventually reinforcing it over time - so, that is in a way it can be considered forced, but at the same, it can be argued that is not.
For rough sex, it goes something similar.
Pure forced, is maybe only in the
weird event with the aliens , and even there, I would say it is not forced in the strongest sense, i.e. is not like she is raped. There is only bit where maybe you could say it is really forced, but only if she is submissive enough, the
dream/nightmare with Anthony as a devil - that is the only one.
Effectively, her fantasies closer to "forced" are about submissive and rough sex, but they are never about 100% forced sex.
For the addiction, there are already two situations
with the students, one with Kimberley, and if I remember well another situation though again, it depends what you mean, it is not like she is a "junkie" who "does anything for her fix", it is more like she gets
high and drank , and then "oops".
In legal arguing, it could be said that her consent is not valid and therefore those are forced situations, but even the law basically says it depends on what she decides after the fact, and in all of those cases Myriam at worst is thinking "I went too far", but she never really feels forced in the sense of e.g. feeling raped.
