Any news from the game? Saw the last Patreon post about a month ago talking about 0.20 version of the game.

Playing this game I get the distinct impression that the dev is not American, and that he's probably Russian. Which leaves me wondering why on earth the game is set in the US. It is kind of interesting playing through a Slavic person's impression of the US. As an American I can say that the notion that a gun store would have been so thoroughly looted is a very obvious sign that the developer isn't an American, since you'd need multiple trips with a truck to completely loot the nearest pawn shop to where I live for all the guns, much less the nearest dedicated gun store. Stocking up on guns for the whole church crew could be done by just searching the closet in the master bedroom of every house in a neighborhood, although you'd probably need a blowtorch to get the safes open since the game takes place in a big city.

A gun shop being looted doesn't mean just one person was involved or that it happened all at once. If something serious happened the owner would take the best stock and all the looters would get what's left. Depending on where you live you could go whole neighborhoods and not find more than 1 gun. If there's an emergency and someone has a gun at home you don't think they'd bring it with them? I'm thinking if someone has as many guns as you're suggesting then they'd be some sort of prepper with an emergency plan.

It's been less than a week, the gun store has been locked down for most of the time, and most people aren't going to take more than what they can carry, a wheelbarrow full at most. As for a whole neighborhood without a gun, I find the notion absurd. I live in a blue state and I know plenty of people who will with a straight face say they aren't gun owners, but I know for a fact that they own at least one gun, I don't think they are lying, they just don't think of their old rifle or their revolver or shotgun as a weapon. If there is a zombie apocalypse in the US and everyone grabs their gun, then it's not a zombie apocalypse. There are a few places in the US where it is absurdly difficult to purchase a gun (legally), but most of those states don't have gun stores inside of urban areas and even in those you'd find old rifles and shotguns everywhere because people would just have them in their attics. My dad doesn't consider himself a gun owner, in fact he's very anti gun, but he owns half a dozen guns, he's got his deer rifle, his hunting shotgun, his trap shotgun, his old Norinco sks, his .22, and his Berretta 92 that he got as a gift. The idea the someone who owns a few guns is some sort of prepper is kind of hilarious.

you didn't read on the patreon that a new version 0.2.0 was released, continuing the plot, plus adding a cheat menu and so on...
Reading the patreon it doesn't seem out yet, what they posted is a progress report.
yeah, it is what MM said - a progress report.
and you should notice even devs end that post with 'The renders are still in production.'
I understand tho, I want this as much as you do. Hope we could see update soon.

Wait 6 guns and he doesn't consider himself a gun owner? Does he never use them or are all of them old gifts that he didn't want but was to nice to get rid of? Or do the people who say they don't own guns actually own airsoft guns?

He doesn't think of his guns as weapons. They are sporting equipment or tools. The Beretta had some sort of utility use I can't remember, it was something to do with boats. I think it was a line thrower or something. I don't think he even remembers he has the SKS, it's been rotting in his attic decades now. So when he talks about politics he just doesn't even think about the guns he owns because to him "gun owners" are people with AR-15s and AK-47s.
edit: I just remembered another gun he has that I didn't remember because I fell into the same trap of not thinking of them as guns. He has a replica black powder signaling cannon. Stick some shot into that thing and it's an actual cannon, just a small one. I've fired it plenty of times, so I know it's functional, and I once used it to shoot off a little plug thing, so I know it can fire shot.
edit 2: when I say it's a small cannon, I mean it's small for a cannon, it's still about 2 inches (50mm) in bore.

Does anybody know what to do after declining the fat guy and then encountering before losing Mr. X on the mall after he shoves the porn-parody licker away?
