Update:


It has been a while!
In the previous article, I envisioned changes in the size of the belly due to additional stages of pregnancy.
In order to make more use of this change in the stomach, I tried to express that the size of the stomach changes depending on the number of ejaculations, resulting in a ``semen drain''.

The number of ejaculations causes the uterus to fill with semen, which gradually increases the size of the abdomen.

Interesting, that seems like idea I had for MBM Tits mod (belly size changed with SemenInside value). Although my version wasn't a dynamic - it didn't changed states post birth, so this looks like a proper implementation.

If it's possible, can we request more character "body parts switches" at least on a code side in Assembly? Current ones are: Tits, HairFront and HairBack:

Several additional slots would be nice to have to use with spine edits. Basically, it's not even about new sprite assets: thigh size can be scaled even with a current one:

As you can see, I'm currently using multiplied "Tits" slot just to control thighs size and clothes.

This time I checked custom sprite sheet size. This was a huge pain in modding MBM and caused issues with texture rendering. Happy to report it's not an issue with current project's state.
Testing MBM's hair assets. 26 front hair types (13 x 2 with sprite mirroring trick).

Anybody else getting a glitch/crash when you click on the town w/ ur goblin army? Every time I click it, it freezes screen on the map.

Seems the Japanese are obsessed with religion of the west (the images), and monsters, not enticing for me as is, needs a lot of work to appeal to a broader set of viewers.

I mean it's just one girl and one monster, I assume there will be farm girls and knights and other types of things. and then male + female monsters.

I'm pretty sure they will reuse their assets from their Darkest dungeon attempt, with the elf, dwarf, fox, and other girls, all in all i'm fairly certain we are getting dozens of various species of girls.

still a shame tho that they scrapped their pornograhpic version of Darkest dungeon. would've loved to play a game like this.

Alright. i went trough their blog again, and the pictures found only strengthen my belief they will, in some form, reuse their ideas.
i mean, first off, the only girl we got right now, the priestess, looks exactly the same in this picture with the elf and dwarf girl.

Lastly, take a look at the concept art for the "classes" the original concept was gonna have:

Plan was that all girls were going to get added from the previous game, plus female versions of the monsters from the first game. now look at the goblin girl there, the girl was gonna get a ponytail. and what type of hair does the new goblin girl have?

A ponytail. sure, now she has a club and spear, but still. hairstyle is the same from the concept. so i'm sure its a matter of time until we get dragonians, kitsune, minitaur-girls and lamias added. if my theory holds any water.

That's all correct, yeah. There are some other facts/details I've noticed. One of them are some mentioning of "mbm2" in the assets. I guess that was their first thought early in development or right after they dropped H-DD concept.

As for a nun-human character's design, I'd like to show you how it can look different, with some changes:

One thing, though - her nun's clothes on hair actually hides sprite seams. That's why it's easy to set up many, I mean, 26 types of hair (front, 14 for the back in my tests) I showed before. All without bothering how different hair parts "connects" with each other. Just easier to work with and that's a "nun"/priest character anyway, so... just a design choice.

Although we'll see if whole clothing removal option will be baked-in the skeleton data later.

And also, don't take my spine renders as a sneak peak, please. I just like to explore what's possible and what's not.

Just got more control over "switching body parts", thanks to Memacile's introduction to BepInEx modding. It's actually a combination of Spine editing, dnspy editing of Assembly-Csharp.dll code and patching it with Harmony via BepInEx plugin.

One thing I was very curious about - is it possible to combine both "priest/nun" character with hair clothes and without it? Answer is: yes, with setting up a dynamic clipping switch.

Two priest variants in one scene:

Now, as I said earlier: hair clothes actually helps to hide hair sprite seams. Sometimes it will look weird or ugly, just because I can't control all added combinations (26 front hair types+14 back hair types) that well.

Still, here's some results without "haircloth" (naming it like that, because that's how cloth on her head is named in assets)

After the baby goblins are put in the growing room, they just disappear for me. Where do they go?
If there's no females in the same room to drink milk from, baby goblins will simply die after day or two. Basic hunger mechanic.

I misunderstood the description, I thought your town was built around a dungeon and you would get adventurers to explore it. When they get pregnant in the dungeon you would offer to "take care" of the baby and use them to basically colonize the dungeon for yourself.
