ngl i've been waiting for the update to come out for sometime, hopefully soon. i will say, i know theres a mod for this game that allows you to place more deployment towers in order to deploy more troops. i have also seen that theres a lot of bugs with it making the game have invisible buildings and stuff. once the update drops i will drop a a folder with the .dll files you can just paste into the game to increase the deployment cap to over 1k. i will drop some screenshots and also a video guide i used as reference to mod the game values. please know i am in no shape a coding expert and it took me like 3 hours to find the correct line of code that is needed to be edited, i have modded my own games in the past such as skyrim and fallout but those use c++ usually and its simple stuff. hopefully my method works in the next update since itll make the game a lot more tolerable. i also found how to increase/decrease the wave timer so they come earlier or delayed. please note i used Dnspy to edit unity .dll files

Honestly, red goblins aren't even that hard? It used to be a 1 in 10 chance that a green goblin would just produce a red goblin.
Had a moment of somewhat clarity, quickly wrote a script attached here that makes all melee goblins red, bow (or everything else) green. Unzip into Script folder, yada yada.

Edit: This only works on Initialize. Will not change goblins in an old save.

Heres an idea: Have an artillery structure like an onager or trebuchet for long ranged attacks using unwanted slaves and monsters as ammunition to get rid of the genetic dead ends.

explores dungeons for the sake of the village's happiness and prosperity,
and uses the supplies and babies obtained there to run the village.”

Because the protag (if we can call it one) doesn't look like a village admin, since there is no village (just a house with a big underground part), no villagers (besides people in captivity), mostly no happiness (except if you count the globins, but I personally wouldn't), and no supplies… well not in the most normal way.

i have a question, i played some 2d combat games and was able to go into the files to edit the damage. i want to know if i can do it here and what file it is

It would be an interest take on lore.
For example ,
The setting could be player (man or boy shota) was exiled and forced to become chief of a ruin down fort that get raid by monsters daily.
-Player start with some common female soldier (sword and archer) and player have to mate with them to product more soldiers.
-The units have 2 stage , when new born baby get breast feeding enough , they will turn into girl , and when they drink the milk (product by mature female) they will become mature.
-Monster who come to raid your fort will drop materials when defeated , something like wood and stone (or just gold) to upgrade your fort and buy items or weapons/monster meat to upgrade female unit stats
-When a monster defeat an unit , it will mate with her on spot and then kidnap her (and you lost that unit).
-Some unique monster use female like meat shield and they drop female unit when defeated.
-Player can create party to raid monster lairs to save more unit

-On ground fort have player's room (mating room) , Tavern - where you can hire (buy) random units or buy item from merchant NPC , Clinic to heal wounded units (4 at max) and other rooms. Mercenary base where you can "sell" the extra unit for cash , training room (sexually) with machine like the capsule .
After 5 days , a new NPC will join you and unlock new system (like in MBM)

-underground have unit building x5 units (like in MBM) , delivery room , breast feeding room , milking room ( product milk) animal breeding room (product meat for gold) tentacle room (unlock after Rune come). Some building only use max level sexual training unit.
I prefer the unit room of MBM instead of new system , since you can easier to manage and keep control of units.

After you have enough tentacles eggs (product by rune) you can use them to unlock monster lair. Monster lair is a safe place (only able to build underground and without get raid) and you can breed female unit with monster to product monster girls to protect the main fort.
Rune is manage the monster (mind control them) and you can kill the monsters for drop (aka butcher)
Also you can add mind controlled NPCs and add them to monster lair like in MBM.

What do you guy think about this type of setting ?

Not a new download, just a new save/game. If you did everything right (placed the unzipped file in the right folder), you'll see the script load.

If you continued a save file, it'd do a bunch of nothing, since the script only works on units spawned in from 'adulthood'.

Yeah, that is the Project RPG description. Given the basic game design direction changed. . . probably needed.

O_O i would like to see that...

The plan was to give us a choice between adult MC and shota MC. There might be more choices in the future. But the current version is quite bare-bones, as it's still early in development.

That would be quite a bit of work depending on how things progress. It'd also really separate and make female characters really different than male characters. The strong point of having a Male MC is currently being able to sometimes accelerate the 'Numbers go up' by breeding a shortstacks stats into a woman. There are ways to code around the issue, obviously, just not elegant ones beyond creating a code to double dip on the fathers traits. And that would almost certainly create a much easier 'stat' pipeline, with a few bigger caveats of where the chokepoint is. Having the best stats being bred and doubled early would loop at step 1. Admittedly you also would have issues with stat gains when it came to other monster breeds, because it is only one womb (unless you create a mess of wombs/multi-pregnancies for the female MC).

If female MCs had a unique 'birth' (assuming you mean just a unique monster) then that is something you can't have with Male MCs. Sure, you could have a way to make it in the Male MC path, but. . . creating an in play divide between gameplay by virtue of MC choice is a bit rough.

Added onto that is a small factor of how much art is needed to make, as the system they use currently has them create a new art/animation everytime they add a sex scene. The shota art might be able to reuse some assets from current compiled work, subbing in the shorter character where they can and only redrawing those assets, while a female character could either completely copy the woman/sister assets or need a new scene for every monster. So if we see new 'options', I would expect to see them at the end if they end up being added at all.

(This is also ignoring any story implications since what we know right now is barebones and could shift as it has in the past)

TL;DR;
Adding a female MC is a bit of a mess beyond just adding an option.
This is all to say, you can hope, just don't expect.
In the mean time, you can just pick one of the starting women to act as a surrogate female MC.
