New update dropped can someone with access translate it
I used Google Translate so it might have some translation errors,
anyone is more than welcome to post a better translation

It's been a while. We are currently working on the new system and UI to be added to version 0.4. Once the UI is complete, we will provide a brief explanation of the new system. The version 0.4 update is scheduled for mid-December, and will be updated by December at the latest. We apologize for the delay in the update. We will continue to work hard to deliver a better game. anyway, I see the gold counter, so hopefully that means upgrades to the defences/keep soon.
i meant in update that the they dropped an update on their dev blog so no i will use the correct form of adressing the situation

You could say a new blog post dropped.

Well, this implies Raids are coming back. You can see a mock up of the Party Icons, a Percentage Completion, and each Chess Piece is currently a unit. The three sections and the red icon might mean 3 or 4 (successful) raids for the current target to be conquered.

Also bottom of the mockup shows what is likely both a difficulty level and a timer for completion. Also they added the Pause button back in the upper left.

i remember that from the older version of projectR where you battle and it gives you girls or smthg

Looking at this chess-map I imagine 3 things with raids: 1) they are needed to get rare untis for some reasons
2)they are needed to make these untis appear at our tower-defense
3)only after clearing these chess pieces we will be able to get female untis to defense/attack or upgrade them as get new locations.
2nd is may be wrong because 2 icons of female knight can be seen at pic

2. can't be fully correct, as even if you ignore the mockup having multiple woman (female knight/warrior), we'd have literally 0 units without goblins and some breeding fodder.
3. Upgrade sources might be more likely.


Notice that we have a mockup of gold, which implies costs for building things are returning. Raids and conquering areas might give a small trickle or a lumpsum of material/gold, unless we get alternate means, like selling women monsters to fund a Black Market.

There is a good chance that conquering an area with said chess piece might capture some of said units. We might not ever be able to capture female units counter-raiding us anymore, and instead rely on them only being rewards. Perhaps completed raid areas can be raided again to capture units. Perhaps harder raid locations give better trait rewards/rarer units in the future.

From the that also stated 'Chest Sizes being Fixed', mentions thoughts on how wave mechanics could implement bosses and abilities unique to rare and higher units (this implies sisters are just rare versions of woman). And the breeding mechanics for Shortstack in another image.

Well then I will ask you how you are willing to implement them into tower-defense if they are something special (strong units), then how many your units will die for defending your place only to see her retreat from the battle? Both your concept arts come from when it was the DarkestDungeon-esque design phase. Sure, there is a good chance we will see them as units in the game, but don't hold your breath.

Bosses were declared as Wave-Specific enemies. Rare enemies may or may not be discarded. We've no idea if the concept will move into something like you've suggested, or if they are retribution for conquering the chess pieces. If bosses are implemented, fantastic.

I'm not sure what your fail case is, unless you are talking like we are raiding but still in tower defense mode? I'd imagine we are getting something closer to a pass/fail where the degree of success is how many units you lose. If we just got boss units for conquering an area while they retain the early design of being 'bosses of waves', it'd remove a lot of why they exist. If they were unique units/characters like our favorite warcrime Vtuber off-brand or the ilk from MBM, sure.

If you want to ask how many units I'd be willing to sacrifice to only see her, a boss, retreat? I'd hope that boss units could be captured, even if it was a rare chance. If it was that rare chance drop, I'd rather have them be a repeatable fight somehow. If that is the case, however many is required. If it was guaranteed, again, however many is required. I'd be disappointed if they had a unit in the game that wasn't 'playable' in some way.

Honestly, it might add a bit of fun in replay if you had random boss units drop that didn't early on that could help determine early game pathing beyond big, funny number on goblin go boom.

A lot of this requires future developments, some required for the game not to be annoying (primarily the issue that units that pass through your stockade and auto-target the door is basically an instant failure).

I just looked at the raid screenshot again, and am I crazy or is it depicting the defense information at the bottom? I think the UI is depicting a timer until getting attacked (the timer at the top left and the timer at the bottom mostly match) and those yellow star/cross icons might be depicting the difficulty. I might be crazy or missed something though.

I think it is probably the raid difficulty and timer for completion. Could be the wave though, that is fair.
