If you're talking about the goblin you need to click on their racial skill "Weapon Swap" to alternate between melee and range.

my nuns in pillory can heal my goblins and shortstacks guards, i have placed 100 shortstacks and 100 goblins each side with 4 pillory full of nuns, they stand no chance against it unless the devs add catapults and bombs since my goblins are like a glass cannon

As much NTR as you decide to have.
In practice, all the monstergirls are for the MC only, while human women can be shared with your monsters and even given away to enemy monsters so that you can take them back and raise their children as your monsters.
This is a breeding game, so don't expect much in terms of stable relationships. At least, as of version 0.5.0.1, you are unlikely to use super-incest strategy as much as before. But unless you keep track of relationships, it's easy to forget them and end up with a spiderweb instead of a family tree.

Heh, i playing this new version and feel like new traits system with huge nerf unlike back then sooo I went stack cost down instead for better monster than bottom tier minion. I want to like them but if i have to RNG get that god tier traits on my orc then no. I only got 2 god tier of VII strenght and III knockback resistence I health boost and another one is VI strenght - 1 cost III knockback resistence after breeding them for 4 days. ONLY god tier 2 orc i got out from this. HUGE nah uh I sooo gonna wait for magic rune cystal whatever upgrade that is for allow higher RNG or gurateen 2 to 5 traits breeding. Also Shota were gonna be a thing? cool they better try that option. Least better than default anime portails dude or maybe more our guy customazation. I want to be vampire futa or something demon..someone should suggest them this

Grew slowly at first by just sorting by damage and putting the high damages together, keeping my infamy low and just occasionally getting some extra women. Then you send some slaves to make orc babies, get orcs, then you get onis and it's easy-peasy from there. Got to day 40 with maximum infamy for the last 10 days, what a breeze. Once you get two sisters and put them on the pillory they'll keep your boys alive too; saves on having to replenish them.

Oh and if you spam drag monsters onto a stockade it will go above the cap lol; having 20 shortstack archers helps quite a bit.

So when I go to start the game, it doesn't have any intro? it doesn't let me choose what I want to be or name myself and there are already slaves and monsters present. Is that what's supposed to happen?

It's a demo so yeah, doubt there's an intro but you get the tutorials in there easy

Also careful if you get too many NPC's, i had a decent chunck and suddenly UNREAL went... well unreal with errors

Could someone tell me how to duplicate the main character? I would also like to know how to unlock the demon girl that is under the main floor that I have seen in pictures?

Bug report:
1. 'Girls in the Stockades' flicker like the image is bugging out.

2. The Wooden spiked barricade group. Dragging monsters into box no issue.
But dragging monsters on top of group of monsters in box, or dropping them on barricade itself, does not properly register and can cause multiple monsters to occupy the area. And monsters do not show up in box.
2a. Monsters can no longer occupy towers.

3. When assigning monsters to a group/team they don't disappear from the "un-deployed" unit filter.
3.a When assigning units the word "new" pops up.

PS:
4. Orcs will now jump in place instead of to the front lines.

Didn't expect that if your units have 3 stats they take more space in the wall, also for some reason towers don't work at all

That kinda sucks too because anything can kill them fast like archers, the only thing that can save them are the nuns, but only post-battle

Had like a 3 stat oni, just for her to be destroyed by 5 archers since they have pushback
