Uh huh and the main issue with that kind of thinking is who gets to determine what "actual" work is and what is deserving of being paid for? Is someone that makes art online deserving of pay or is what they are doing not art but instead "art" so its not worth compensation? Who gets to determine that? It boggles the mind how someone can just spew a bunch of nonsense and claim that people should create things without compensation simply for the love of creating it. Because obviously being tied down to some shitty job where a bunch of billionaires are robbing you of your life while refusing to pay a basic living wage because you cant monetize your creations is a super great idea. People make art and people SELL art. It doesnt matter if you LIKE the art being made or if you agree with it. You cannot and should not stop people from making money off it. Like it or not content creators SHOULD be able to make a living of what they do if they are able to do so. There is a conversation to be had about obvious grifters like lazy reaction youtubers and fucking culture war dipshits but with how politically charged the rant was about genders the guy would probably rush to the defense of most of the grifters.

The issue becomes much easier as soon as people's lives stop depending on it. That's what UBI is for - so that artists would be able to live in reasonable comfort regardless of whether their art is appreciated or outlawed.
It also solves the problem of being tied to a job.
