Anyway I like your post it's was funny.

He isnt a pushover. However it will be interesting when he finally meets his ex, who set the entire plot in motion.

Anyhow, there a plenty of dialog choices where you can choose to be nice, neutral or snarky, afaik without repercussions to the main story.
