Wow, I remember this from like a year and half ago. Thought it was pretty much abandoned. Now nearing two years, and it is finally getting an update? Glad they got their family stuff sorted though and are adapting to the new life.
As for the game itself, started over any ways, as well, it's been a long time since I've played it lol. It's an alright game. Simple slice of life so far.
But ignoring that entire sister storyline, the game is alright. The game is still interesting on its own without all the sister drama. Hesitant to see what is coming next, as I have a feeling this is going to go in a direction I won't be too fond of (since all of the focus seems to only be on the sister's drama). I guess let's just hope we don't have to wait another year and a half for an update lol.

Depends on your tolerance level and if the reason she's a bitch matters to you or not (from her perspective, you went off to college when she was in middle school, abandoning her). Based on mechanics (her "love score" starts negative and slowly increases) and the tropes of games like this, I'm pretty sure she's gonna thaw eventually.

The game was never abandoned, 20 minutes of a story for 2 years of dev is not because the dev is lazy, it is all because he became a father, I know it is hard for some of you kiddies to understand but there is more to life than porno games.
