From useless thing on the first floor after cleaning it in fountain at big blob level(forgot name of character that teaches us about awakening) at the north part of the map

you have to order them to change clothes, if its a new playthrough you need to get the clothes from treasures first to unlock the order
I used a save by the user Burnass, upon using it I can't seem to find the order to dress em up in different outfits lmao

Just checked their save, since it starts a NewGame+ you still need to obtain the clothes first from treasure caves to unlock the order
