Well, there is very little left before the release of 0.1, a couple of backgrounds and text adjustments. Why did the game take so long to make? In fact, I take my game much more seriously. I make systems from scratch, I try to make everything very interesting and I try to think many versions ahead. Now I see that in the future the game can be a really good "slice of life" game with rivals, interesting scenes, minigames
It should also be warned, due to the fact that I changed the artist, but there is graphics of the old one, as well as both artists were not professionals and developed during development, my graphics do not look in the same style and their quality jumps and changes a lot. Only pixel art looks harmonious, for which I was responsible
Also, despite the fact that modding should be done at the last moment before the release of the final version. I'm already making modding tools now and it also takes a lot of time and effort, mainly because convenient tools can also make it easier for me to develop in the future. So far I'm working on three tools
-Location editor
-Code editor (In the form of visual programming with nodes like in unreal engine)
-Editor of text, dialogues and scenes
I can also notice moments with tension physics, for example, windows of interfaces that can be pulled
In the future, I also plan to do a lot of physical interactions with characters, sprites with dynamic breasts and dynamic scenes with various interactions.
Unfortunately, the presence of content in 0.1 is associated with the speed of the artist, if I had more money for more professional artists, there would be more scenes. I think one day I should start my own patreon or something so that I have money for artists and can please you with more content while I work on the serious parts of the game.
Also, in order to see what the final product will be, I am making a text version of the game, it is not rewarding, it has absolutely no graphics, the actual entire interface is divided into 2 windows, one with information and statistics, the second with interactions. There are no minigames, dialogues, scenes with only a brief description. But there is gameplay. This allows me to see the integrity and the final product, as well as work on balance and how interesting the game is. There is most of everything that I am planning and it all looks just amazing, I also decided to focus on modding, because I think that if you give people convenient tools, they will create content (just remember the map editor in warcraft 3 and maps there made by people)
Thank you for still being interested in the game despite how much time it takes.
