Probably because the dialogue is really quite bad and the plot becomes more ridiculous as it progresses.Why are the ratings low?
For example, just out of no-where they have suddenly become highly skilled and are leading some covert team on a rescue mission, yet not so long ago the MC got lost somehow even though GPS or compass [which all modern phones have] doesn't need internet to work, which means that as long as you know roughly which side of the country you are on then you know in what direction the coast is and since they were on a beach prior to being lost then its easy to stop being lost.
Another reason is that Eve is a cunt, she's been acting like a bitch, spinning lies .etc, she tricked some characters into drinking alcohol despite those people not wanting to because it was involved in why their parents died and yet we, as the MC, are being rail-roaded into forgiving all that and going on like she was just a bit misunderstood.
No, fuck that bitch.
People here forgive a lot of stuff but there is a point where things become just too much and then low scores come.
Thats my guess anyway.

Um... Wow.
I just started the game and I have to say, this could do with a few runs through by a good English language proofreader... and possibly an exorcist based on those scary facial expressions. o.o;;;
I don't like piling on someone who is just doing their best but the developer does need to give the script a few once overs. Its a porn game but gods, this is Starwars Episode 2/3 levels of dialogue.
I am hoping it gets better, will give it a bit before I call it quits, people do tend to improve as they go after all.
Also, is the dialog better english wise with the non-incest version?
Because if the incest patch is what gets me this:
"So I was wondering why you behaved so affectionate with me?"
then I will gladly deal with Land ladies and tenants
