You hardly need to question any of their action at this point, they are even more 'professional' milker than Alex himself (aka YanDev, although he didn't deserve the Dev card anymore so I just call him by name)
Eman didn't doing much shit-talk and socially interaction outside of their lair, all they need is keep feeding their cost-sunken-list with wall-of-text that may or may not relate to their technical advancement in the game while release as bare minimal update as possible to imply their works are really difficult and hard to push out each step, regretfully, most of people backing him buy that and stay hold him up by the mechanic of sunken-cost-fallacy that keep them in the limbo of profiting between the very thin line of actual talent developer that work really hard and a glorious scam that happen to be good at art.
If you would hope, out of miraculous chance that something would happening like Alex's treatment, it rather slim-to-nonexistence for those actually very passionate to create(or recreate) the likes of Eman and compete with them.
And the chance that they'll redeem themselves with the release of actually finish and polished product are almost the same. You can bet your ass that they also clearly self-aware of what they're doing, no human being would never question their action with time taken this long and would still think perfectly clean about them and so dose themselves but they stick with it anyway, bare minimal work for a stable income, why not ?
Why rush release a complete product when you can sell bullshit as sustainable rate and people would still buy them anyway ? This type of long-dragging development corrupted many talents that would have shown a community of their effort and their achievement, instead turn them into money hunger leech that care more about their own financial freedom than to release a masterpiece that could possibly become a legend that everyone would keep talk about into unforeseeable ... they would still dose, but surely not in a good way.
They choose to ignore all the controversy outside of their community completely because it yield them no any benefit so they can focus on what they did best like a 'professional' they're.
It just a reality we currently living in now, either keep watch until they can redeem themselves, forget them completely or wait and see if they'll actually got competition like Alex's treatment one day. In some alternate reality Eman team would already become an absolute legend in adult game dev's community, but surely not in our reality, it is what it is.

Do you mean the eight reviews attached to this thread? Five out of those eight have only one star. That's more than half of the reviews that give it the lowest score it can get.
I finally managed to find some info on the system requirements ever since they switched to 3D. The requirements are a minimum of 8GB RAM in addition to a 2GB GPU. For a H-game! That is absurd. Those are some pretty steep system requirements for a H-game. That is so dumb. They should have just stuck with the 2D version, when the system requirements weren't stupidly high for a H-game. This 3D version doesn't even really look all that different from the old 2D one, but the 2D one had way better performance.
I don't see how it being a porn game has anything to do with it. There are much more demanding porn games, such as Fallen Doll and its sequel and Wild Life. But those requirements are a bit nuts for what is essentially a 2d beat-em-up.
The thing is I've seen video games with lower system requirements that have better graphics. Based on the visuals in Pure Onyx I don't understand why the system requirements are so high. Unless Eromancer just completely has no idea how optimisation works.

Why do you ask here when you can just check their Patreon for a post with a new release? The title of the post will be clear about whether or not it's a new release. In my opinion you're just being lazy.
Well, it runs like shit on my i5-8th gen, 8gb of ram, with a ssd drive and dedicated graphics work laptop. It is still hacky on my dedicated i7 gaming machine with a geforce 1060 and 32gb of ram.

I would suggest forget about this game and don't bother with Eromancer. He is a scam, 2 years and here 1 H scence out of 2 enemies. After that amount of time with less money, other dev such as Grimmhelm already finish the game with much more and better content than this piss poor of a scam Ero calls game. i'm sure after enough "realease" he will just calls "fuck it. it too hard. here my new project, throw me some money" anyway. If he is half decent of a human being he is now, he would have continue Malise and machine or simply "here my indie game with a $20 price tag on it, hope you guys enjoy".
