Yep it was doomed to fail, that is why I don't really believe is a believable reconciliation path but maybe the dev make it believable, who knows. Their core personalities (MC and Allie) simply don't match imho.

You also have to remember, Veronica is intentionally the way she is, because she is written to make a lot of you feel the way you feel.
Any VN dev that starts the story with you in an established romance....has to give the player an 'out'...so really one could say she could have been written far better and yet still give you an out...
Facts remain, unless you're playing the MC exactly as yourself (and think about that, because the MC is a dumb idiot and not terribly likeable), Veronica is still the second best LI in term of a 'long-term' relationship....perhaps the best if you don't want the baggage that Maggie comes with. All the rest are just a disater waiting to happen (again in one case) if this was anywhere close to being realistic.

Sure, they're all still very young and inexperienced, not exactly solid step-mom material for Lily, if we keep it a buck, but they (Maggie and Jasmine at least) love the MC and are willing to support him as best as they can in his journey, so who knows ?? Maybe they'll prove themselves to be up to the task in the next updates, and they can always have children of their own with the MC.

I'm not choosing Allie over V because of her appearance. I mean, yeah she's indeed a smokeshow. But also a lovely mother, a smart woman, and most importantly a good lover. Yes, a good lover! Because after all this shit she still loves Jake. There's no doubt about it. I was almost the same whenever Allie brought the cheating and blaming on the MC in the first 2 episodes hehehe, I only kept thinking "dang woman, chill, leave the nagging for off screen moments, I didn't do anything " . This is always the issue when we have no say to the circumstances at where we begin the game aka day 0 specially with an heavy past and present some don't wish for like being already in a relationship at the start of a AVN.For sure most of us would do things different from Jake, heck for sure we all behave different in similar circumstances from each other (players). The same happens with MC-Veronica. We don't really have a fresh start and if we want it we have to wait for the choices to happen hehe.
But if all this creates so many discussion in this thread then the dev is doing their job well, at least it isn't boring and there is plenty of different love interests and relationship types for almost every taste.

Camilla is a sidecharacter and only got a bit more insight in the latest update.
She is sort of untouchable since she is attached to Cooper. Best chance is to get a funny threesome or foursome and it isn't so much about how much you want her, but how much you can put of with Cooper.
I suggested her, but I was mocked for it, so don't blame me.

The blame for the marriage breakdown is 50/50 (you could make an argument for 60/40 either way, but they share the blame).
The blame for the cheating is 100% MC. I get it and understand why he did, and many others would have done the same thing. But you cannot put even 1% on Allie. MC had options and still chose to put his dick in someone else. (If it had been Allie that cheated, or it comes out that she did, then the blame is on her 100% for her cheating).

Allison is VP of new product development at Praxium Pharmaceuticals in their Biosimilar department while MC was a respected member of the research section. There's a time difference there, as Allie's role is current whereas MC's was while he was an employee there, so Allie could have been promoted since he left, but she comes across as being higher up than he was in the company (details given if you take Allie to the charity ball).
