I just read the official guide and saw this dev has a previous game that I cannot find here or elsewhere. Anyone know the name?
Their previous games were 'The Best Days of Our Lives' - abandoned and handed over to another dev - who also abandoned it.

And 'Before You Go' - completed, but only a very short one.

If only. Allison became so spineless in the recent update in how she crawled back to MC.
Nah, it tracks. She backlashed hard with the shattered trust, but what she really wanted was to punish him. With him seemingly getting better, I can see her having getting the rage out and feeling lonely and wanting back the husband she actually married, now that she got her lashing out done.

People can and do change if you give them incentive.

Not sure why it's embarrassing and cringe. Lots of people dislike her, but lots of people like her. She's a very good character, as well as being incredibly attractive (both my opinion since they are subjective).

Not cringe at all. Apparently, the MC was quite childish before Lily got hurt. Alison was quite right to get rid of him.
But she is really sweet and awesome under that tough exterior when she sees how much more committed the MC has become to their daughter. She might also be the best companion to find investors to the battery project, strategically the best choice for success.
Besides, she looks really beautiful and classy without being arrogant.

I wouldn't say childish, and obviously (from the context we are given) neither of them put in enough effort for their marriage, you can't pin that entirely on the MC. The cheating part yes obviously. But that didn't come out nowhere. Also he didn't "become" committed to Lily. He was a good father before all that, even Allie admits that much.

Mmm, I think you're making the MC look bad in order to make Allison look much better than she really is. He has always been a good father to Lily, not just after the accident. Even Allison, the person who loves and hates him the most at the same time, acknowledges it.

Sure, the MC shouldn't have cheated, but I doubt he did it because he was bored of the perfect life he had with his ex-wife and daughter. From my POV, both failed as a couple and didn't put the necessary effort to save their marriage, but since the MC was the one who cheated he's seen as "the bad guy" here (and I get it, because Allison wouldn't be as loved if she was the one who had the affair instead of Jake).

Allison (aside being a good song from my youth) was a helicopter mom who was also a career-focused workaholic. That didn't live much room in her life for her husband (this happens all the time with marriages, and why the divorce rate is so high). He got frustrated and gave in to temptation with a bitch that was only looking for drama, then dumped him. They were both at fault. My problem with Allison was that she blamed it all on him (denying any responsibility for problems), and took it out on him in front of their kid (which is a shitty thing to do to a kid, never mind to him).

In the game I always try to play nice with Allison because it's better for her to heal, and most of all, better for Lilly. I will never play a run where they completely reconcile. Good coparents are what I'm after with her, aside for maybe a hate-fuck to get it out of their systems.

I honestly think the last chapter, if you take Allison with you, is a great insight into her psyche. It seems Allison is too influenced by the image she thinks she should have; she's gone from Miss Wet T-Shirt to No Bikini Because Mom Doesn't Wear Bikinis.

Got a source for his supposed childishness that isn't a biased ex-wife?

Sorry, sorry, sorry! I honestly didn't remember exactly how their relationship exactly was described in the beginning of the game.
Thanks for reminding me what it was really like! I do agree with everything you guys said about it.
