Ah, interesting. I might have to give that a whirl then, to see for myself. I certainly wouldn't mind that being a future path, especially because watching Jasmine and V in the same bedroom would be fucking hysterical.

All that being said, there's a world of difference between fantasy and reality, and it coming from someone who's neurotic, clingy and possessive to the point of her feeling more like a stalker than a significant other.. not exactly buying it.
If it does happen then that's honestly a pretty massive 180 degree turn for no reason other than to 'fix' her behaviour.

Sure, the MC might have been a shit husband, but that doesn't mean he's going to value random pussy over his own blood. I don't have terribly strong opinions about the love interests and the game as a whole (after a strong beginning, it drags for years in development and became mediocre), my impression is that Veronica is forced on the MC at the beginning, which is in contrast to the game highlighting itself through choices and controlling MC as one sees fit. Secondarily, she doesn't have much of a mystery, conflict or twist. She is the safe and boring girlfriend without drama, which is tricky to pull off in a video game designed around challenges and ups and downs. I might add, many of us played a finished version of act 1 directly this year without the waiting hence we enjoyed the game far more than those who waited years for updates.

Ah, yes, we value our own daughter so much, we go around hooking up with students or random girls( I have no problem with this, but if people have problem with Veronica, they should have problem with this too). But yeah, let's put all the blame on someone who loves and supports MC, and just wants to be there for us and know we are there for her too, by defining the relationship. So yeah, double standards.
But I am not going to argue anymore with you and the others. Think whatever you want, this topic is just annoying to see every time, blaming a great girl.
Yeah, I do like the other LIs more especially Jasmine and Alsion. And I know people hate forced GF's at start. She may not have anything huge, she may be more safe choice, but that doesn't make her bad. It's just tiring seeing people shit on her for no reason over and over again.

If you think that Veronica is a great girl without faults, I genuinely beseech you to consider looking into therapy, because her flavour of possessiveness, insecurity and jealousy is not in any way healthy. If this is just what you are used to, then I am sorry to hear that you've had to experience people like that.
If you just like red flags and you know that you do, then more power to you I guess.

Listen, I don't even mind Veronica and even think she's a pretty decent character... but this is just some beyond delusional sentiment. She is FAR from perfect in terms of being a partner, and she can be lovely sometimes, but she can also be a leech stuck to you draining you of energy and enjoyment. This must be some form of Stockholm syndrome you're experiencing.

Double standard? I see exactly zero other characters in this game(or in most games) who get their hackles up just because someone of the same sex walked into the room. I don't have a problem with her providing Jake with outlets and doing what she can to support him while his daughter is comatose, I have a problem with her attempting to monopolize his time and attention when he both has made it very clear he's not looking for anything that serious or committed, and has a million other things on his plate.I see we are at the point where people complain about Veronica and have double standards for her "supposed" actions again. Don't get me wrong, you could absolutely analyze other girls in negative ways. Whether you think Jasmine is too pushy, Nat is lying about her identity, Maggie is too dependent or Allison is leading Jake on. But all of these require you to be looking for things to dislike about them. V's clinginess is her core character trait. There's nothing "supposed" about it; it's straight up the crux of her character storyline, trying to feed her insecurities. She's not the only LI ever made like that, but given the specifics of both the game's story and their relationship, it's just so much more frustrating.

You're just bored of her becauhse she is "Easy mode". And that's fine. But she's great. I mean it's hard for her to compete with Jasmine and Allison, but she is very cool.
A bit clingy ? Yes. Who wouldn't be when you are with a man who cheated of his ex-wife and has the super hot Jasmine as a personal assistant ? Does that make her as evil as you try to make it sound ? Not at all.

That is... not even close to what people are saying, but sure.
Again, no one's said that she's evil. Just that it makes her very frustrating to deal with when she can't go 10 seconds without snapping at another woman. If she was showing more development than maybe hinting at future threesomes then maybe she'd feel more worthwhile to follow the route for but as of right now I'd consider her very much the bottom girl out of all the ones who've gotten lewds, even if said lewds have generally been good.

Also yeah, if one's argument to why she's a good character is that her sex scenes are hot... completely lost the plot.
Those are people who only play for hot scenes and hot LI's, and don't care about a character's actual, well... character.
I mean, that's fine I guess... but don't sit here and strawman making counterpoints against arguments that no one even made.
Being clingy is one thing, but lashing out at girls just for being remotely close to the MC is definitely off-putting.
