It's weird tho, the Patreon page says it's 7426 members in total, and to be a member you have to at least pledge 1 dollar. Maybe it means "paying at the moment" or something like that? Or it's one of those things to not show actually how many people are paying so that one doesn't go "well he's already making a ton of money, I can not pledge/pledge only the bare minimum"

You actually don't have to pledge any money to become a member of most Patreons. You just won't get access to anything beyond whatever free benefits they offer.
If you are a free member, it shows the details.

Just started and finished the game, i remember when the demo came out. been "busy" w nlt's games i complelty forgot of this one. I do prefer the animated scenes on RoL than nlt's

Game of this quality and depth takes more than 6 months between updates, for the most part.

It can't be LI because that will put an end to her path for 95% of players which will make her useless for the dev. No way will she be able to justify herself in the story.
Unfortunately, most AVN players are so "vulnerable" that they consider LI having an ex 10 years ago as cheating so imagine what will happen to them after it's revealed that Cris for example got paid to hit the daughter or Natalya was ordered by KGB to run her over so that Jake would have to speed up the development of the battery.
That's why only safe tropes and non provoking plots in the majority of games

Thing is, Kris isn't one of the "main 5" so it would be easier to make her complicit. Like, what do we get if the culprit is simply one of Toby's thugs, or Wyatt, or whomever mysterious third party did this for some reason or another (like it could also be a completely freak accident by a totally unrelated "normal" person, and that's in a way the twist)? I don't want a twist for the sake of a twist, but rather a resolution that makes the player feel like something big just happened. If the culprit is someone we hate already or have no reason to care for besides getting the option to exact revenge on them or not I feel like that'd be pretty cheap.
That'd be a twist. Also explain why he drops a whole bunch of cash out of guilt.It was Cooper, with his truck, on the road outside Alison house.
Doubt it though.

If you or the dev would like to see guilty for the run over someone known to us for the sake of drama, I think the best logical candidate is Maggie's mother. Either herself or her driver whom she ordered to speed up at that moment. And with the subplot where Jake decides to rescue her from the marriage that's a great dilemma.
Or her rich husband. But that will just add to his villainy.
And of course Wyatt is too obvious.
It was the doctor, who wanted a guinea pig for her new therapy.

Even if she isn't one of the main 5, you can bet your ass that people will take offense nonetheless.
There's a game out there where the dev had to physically remove a scene for a side character that had less than 4 scenes in the entire game because people threw an absolute shitfit.
Basically, there's zero reason for the dev to torpedo one of his characters and make them completely unusable for the rest of the game when there's already some well established villains to point towards.
Just starting your game, and it already has my attention. I did want to offer you a suggestion/observation. In the English translation (or at least American English), high schools (1If3-18 years old) have principals. Universities have presidents or chancellors. If William is over the entire university, he should be one of those titles, NOT principal. If he is over the science and technology college within the University, but not over the entire University, his title would be "Dean." I think that's the same way it works in Great Britain, but I could be wrong about the UK universities. Anyway, thanks for the great game so far.
