I mean I kind of get it, but currently blaming most of the bs she pulls as being a student and unfortunately acquainted with Alexa who Is responsible for the annoying student texts. To be fair though I blame Alexa for all evil in the world really. Personally really like Jasmine because she at least seems to actually be interested in the work they are doing and Is seemingly serious about having her own racing team/business.
Maggie though would be able to beat Jasmine for me If she wasn't blonde, just not into blonde's, though maybe I'm just too into into redheads.... nah... no such thing.
oh yeah if I went soley base on Looks Jasmine no question asked. even tho Jasmine went down in ranks for me this update I still like her alot I love her personality. Honestly for me just one solid date / character deveolopment arc and I can see her jumping back ahead of Maggie for me. As her personality carries her just as much as her looks for me she is fun to be around and she acts like a bro at times which I fucken love.
Yeah this, i cant see how people can see this behavior and excuse it with "well she had to wait a long time already, she wants clarification NOW", like what the fuck?
His little daughter is in a life-threatening coma since a few days and he has to come up with money for her treatment and thats the fucking moment where she needs clarification so badly?!
And even worse, she considers herself important for the MC's project and than just leaves at a time where its the most important for him to succeed because he needs the money from his project for his daughter.
How is that not utterly shitty? "You either commit to me now or i will stop supporting your project and you can look for yourself how youre gonna be able to get the funds for your daughter, fuck you, what do i care about the little bitch". Just reverse the genders and you will see how fucking creepy and disgusting that is.
Yeah yeah, very caring and supportive.
But she obviously did jackshit anyway as her being absent doesnt damage the project in any way at all lol
And why the fuck are people keep saying that she is the mc's S.O. or girlfriend in the beginning when his thoughts are literally this:
While I broadly agree that Veronica's actions don't paint her in a great light following Lily's injury, I do think it's important to remember that the MC is, to be polite, a cad. I do not believe for a moment that he ever told Veronica point blank that he wasn't ready for a relationship; I think he prevaricated and offered half-truths that implied he wanted no strings while making sure V would hear whatever kept the good times rolling. Even once he's under my control, the MC is a pretty shameless womanizer, heaven knows just how bad he was when he was in full rebound mode and eager to justify what he'd done to Allison. Basically, I don't think the MC's framing of the situation is reliable.
So I'm willing to cut Veronica a fair bit of slack when it comes to her clinginess. It's her attempt to seduce the MC in the school parking lot that did her in for me. Lady, that would be a terrible idea even if the guy was worth it!
I mean when questioned, Allie states that their marriage wasn't working and she wasn't happy. It sounds like the marriage was dead and the infidelity was just the final nail.
I don't think it was quite dead, but both Allison and the MC had clearly let problems fester to the point a crisis was inevitable. The reason I put more of the blame on the MC is that his actions are what guaranteed the situation would be irreparable. Poor communication kills, but it might have been corrected if either of them had a revelation and resolved to fix things; gaslighting your spouse about having an affair is pretty much a nuclear option.
I don't like Veronica very much at all and not doing a path for her, but I love how everyone puts this on her. If Jas didn't start it and intentionally try to goad her like a 10 year old, V doesn't carry on. Of course, V should have been more mature and ignored it (and it was unprofessional), but she got threatened by the sexy student who was throwing herself at her man in front of her while she can't get him to commit. Perfectly understandable response and what most would do in the same situation.
Meanwhile, the sexy redhead gets a complete pass for her immature behavior. I wonder why?
If we had a choice, Jasmine would have been off my project right there and then.
Yeah, Jasmine was a a real dick in that exchange and it definitely soured me on her character. But no false equivalencies, please. Jasmine only got catty once it clear Veronica considered hiring Jasmine beyond the pale. First, that's just moronic. Hiring students is the whole point of university research. Second, Veronica is not only far older and theoretically wiser, she's a professor. She's the one who's expected to act professionally here, not the student who's paying to learn. What did she think would happen when she insulted Jasmine to her face?
Sure, Veronica had every reason to question the MC's motives, but that's something to bring up with him in private. Forcing a confrontation over nothing (much less getting into a pissing match to hide her own insecurities) is a losing game - as Jasmine was all too happy to demonstrate.
So yeah, both characters behaved like clowns, but Veronica not only shot first, she did it in the dumbest way possible.
Just finished the update and an ending occurs to me: Jake and Jammin make the battery change the world. However Jasmine's' mind is affected by the battery and she become the Redhead Herald, making all the people feminist. To save the world Jake went back from the future, perished Jasmine as well as himself.

I mean they have been divorced for 2 years and MC asks for an example where Allie has shown him any affection in the last 5, but she can't. The festering had been going on for 3 years and neither did anything to remedy it. That sounds pretty dead to me.
Allison - honestly she might be my fave in all VNs but time will tell.
Jasmine - redhead/trouble, I'm all for it.
Maggie - She'd carry the VN if Allison didn't exist.
Kris - Goth princess/trouble
Natalya - Red herring spy
Kalani - I hope she's not a main route but I'm down for a lewd scene or two.
Alexa - I don't like her outward persona but learned a lot in the Kris/Alexa threesome about why she is the way she is.
Vanessa - The sex scene was nice but I don't see much future. She'll probably roll in for another scene down the road.
Literally every other woman in the story (the physio chick, Patricia)
I'm forgetting someone... never mind, she's in Canada and can stay there.
I'm still enjoying my time through the game since i started playing it just yesterday.
Allison- Can be a bit annoying at first, with all the (understandable) resentment she shows... until i caught on that she's saying "it's just for Lily" to herself just as much as she's telling that to her ex-husband.
She's wonderful when she lets her guard down, strong bond if she doesn't want it.
Jasmine- Red hot, drives a man insane type chick... of course i love her.
Kris- Jasmine but goth instead of a fiery goddess, so she ends up in slightly lower plane.
Veronica- You have the goods lady, if only you could tone down the needyness... i don't know 90, maybe 95%, and try to understand what the guy is going through with his daughter's accident it would be wonderful
Maggie- She's beautiful, she's super nice, she's the perfect girl... she's the one your brain says it's the best choice, but your "other head" might end up making a different choice, she's so nice she may be too nice and not edgy/sexy enough, still a strong contender.

I would like to see a nice date with Jasmine too, at least something more than romantic based than just sex, would be nice to see more of that since I believe she Is definitely not just there to fuck around, like you said her personality Is great too. Again when It comes to Maggie, I may believe in red head supremacy but I've been proven wrong many times!

As I said, I don't really trust the MC's framing, especially at the start of the game. The fact that Allison doesn't debate his statement doesn't automatically make the statement valid.
But that aside, just because the two of them weren't really affectionate anymore doesn't mean they're as good as divorced. The two could have still gone through the motions in a more business-like manner, cooperating on official matters (Lily most obviously) but drifting apart otherwise. I wouldn't describe that as dead, though it clearly would die eventually, likely once Lily grew up.
To my mind, that's a very different situation from the MC not only starting an affair with a mutual coworker, but trying to brazen it out once Allison caught wind of it. YMMV.
Remembered my main reason for having Allie come along to the conference, I didn't want her left at home with the potential harm that could have come to her with the rapist(yeah he failed but not for lack of trying) guy who seems to be creeping around her. She Is also one of best characters/LI's too though.

Allie acknowledges that their marriage wasn't a good one, neither were happy. Staying together because you have a kid is a sure-fire way to raise them in a toxic and resentful environment. They should have split prior to the affair.
Was the MC wrong for having an affair? Absolutely.
Can I understand why he did it? Yes.
The MC felt unloved and here comes a woman who throws herself at him, all so she could leverage it and boost her career. Nobody is advocating cheating, but sometimes despair takes over and you do anything to feel something, especially after years of unhappiness.
Tried this on first release. Came back now. All saves are broken, so I started over. Reminded of the fact that daughter looks like a full grown DAZ woman's head on a child's body. In other words, the supposed 7 year old looks like a midget. It's uncanny as fuck and in a VN that looks great otherwise, it really stands out like a sore thumb. I can't take this full grown woman's head talking like a little kid.
Also, while I'm here, I want to point out the fact that auto-forward has no shortcut on the bottom right. We have to go into right click menu and push that button every time you want to start auto-mode.

I think we have a different view of the range of potential marriages. Staying together for a kid doesn't inherently make the marriage toxic, that only happens if the couple insist on blaming the other for the problems yet refuse to step away. The impression I get from Allison's side is that things were a lot less hostile than that.
And at the risk of belaboring the point, I can't really take the MC's need for affection too seriously when I've seen how he treated Veronica. Yeah, I get that the situation is different, but the way her thinks about her - and discusses her with Cooper - does not jibe with a man who was starving for tenderness. It does, however, jibe with a guy who missed wild sex and had begun to resent his wife for going domestic.
That's a big part of why I was so annoyed at the focus on how horny the MC made Allison in this update.

The way their marriage was (no intimacy, no communication) would definitely devolve into toxicity. MC states he should have found a marriage councillor sooner, so it sounds like the writing was already on the wall regarding separation.
The way I read the Veronica relationship is that MC is fairly reluctant to commit because his previous committal ended up loveless and he has more to think about than jumping feet first into something. He has to take into account how his daughter would feel, navigate how the ex-wife will feel about V around her daughter.
As for Allie's feelings, she is seeing the MC as he was when she first met him. He is driven to achieve his goals, which currently align with hers. She sees the work he has made on his project, heard about the training with Ham to improve his chances at racing, all in the pursuit of helping their daughter. Not to mention, she hasn't dated anyone since the separation, of course she's gonna be horned up.

wow, what a hit parade of V hate posting I missed with those ratings lol
I only played the game not that long ago, so I'll join the rates
#1 Maggie - woman you can only dream of, absolutely stunning outside and great inside.
#2 Veronica - I love how devoted she is to MC, and I (as MC) am grateful for everything V has done for him, it's really tough choice for me between Maggie/V
#3 Natalya
#5 Alexa/Jasmine
#6 Kris
#7 Allison - my last option, usually I agree to disagree with you, bro AlexMpog but in this case I'd rather Ex remains Ex, yeah, moving forward is the way for me here.
