Sadly that's becoming the norm for good amount of Devs who make pretty good games.
Granted some have regular jobs so I understand the long wait for updates.
Others.....well not gonna open that can of worms....

After he released the last update he said he wanted to release 2 more updates this year. For that to happen he would need to release one update this month or at the start of August for that to even be possible. I think the last time he updated the progress tracker was at the end of May and the update wasn't even at 50%. I think there is a good chance that we might get at least 1 update this year but it wouldn't surprise me if it took again, almost a year to release it.
