She just gave up I guess, I was a subscriber for a while till she went completely radio silent
Was it bc she lacked funds. AS a subscriber You might know if she had enough.
I think on patreon you can see the number of patrons if the devs allow it

from what I remember she/ he (i don't know if the dev was a she) at some point got angry about some comments and just dropped everything. That's what I've remember reading at that time on the forum. I think the comments are a few pages back.

yes unless dev miraculously returns but that's very rare thing, seen it twice on 2 games and on 1 dev vanished again after 1 update and on other dev takes "small" breaks (sometimes around 2 years) before continuing game.Yes, like a GTA, it's to be taken with a pinch of salt, but I didn't expect that.
Is the game definitively abandoned?

I don't remember the details, this game did not work as it wanted, it took up the second BS and there it began to be hated by everyone who was signed and not signed.
Complaints from subscribers, as far as I remember, were only because of the frequent attention in the game to those who are not subscribed, in the sense that it wasted time on renders in the game, where the RR character begged for subscriptions to patreon. But this is no longer certain.
from what i remembered, at some point, the dev just got angry and close everything. that was the reason?

Yes, she expressed dissatisfaction with the weak sponsorship and started developing a new game, which caused even more dissatisfaction from the public and even weaker sponsorship for the second game.
I wish I could have told her at the time that her game just came out at the wrong time, AVN wasn't that popular back then, now her Rainy Day has become an unfinished classic)
