is there guide for rance 4? like i said earlier it's stupidly hard, i can barely win a 1v1 battle and againts more than one enemy i just died, if the whole strategy is to keep do 1v1 and then go back to camp and heal over and over again until rance leveled up i'd rather just cheat. i just want to know the first encounter of ranec with the girl on rance 6

The Alicesoft wiki has walkthroughs on all the games, + explanations on loads of the other mechanics. Give it a consultation if you're having trouble, but you're probably just underleveled/in the wrong area.

Weird..? Rance IV is actually pretty easy and you're very likely doing something very wrong. Even underleveled Rick and Rance are usually much more powerful than non-boss opponents.

i just read the guide (i forgot there's guide, it's been so long since i played rance game), i already went into the right place (west tower, it's not like there's any other place to go) it's just that i'm underleveled, apparently i need to go to the second floor and go to a specific room to get free 8 level. i absoultelly wouldn't know this if not because for the guide, because like i said earlier i died easily if i get ambushed by multiple monster, and i've been avoided entering room since in first floor the rooms are filled with many monster

i'm glad i haven't rage quitted, despite the old graphic this game artwork is actually really good, if only it's not censored it would be perfect. i'm enjoying this game more than rance 6 so far

Guide for rance 1?
The remake or the original? The wiki recently moved to another domain, and all the relevant walkthroughs can be found here:

Just be aware, the formatting is all kinds of fucked because of the migration. The OP should probably mention the wiki considering how often people ask for walkthroughs.

Please help me ... i can't open game normaly when they always pop up error..
Don't install / attempt to run a game out of your one drive folder.

Also, I assume you actually unzipped the game?

Does anyone know how to get 01 working on Linux as I get the Failed to Load File error?
How exactly are you trying to run it? Natively, through WINE? I know people got it running on WINE a long time ago but for some reason it was incredibly laggy and there was graphical errors with the text box.

The only issue is that it tells me to use Full Screen Mode but the resolution is messed up when using Full Screen. I tried to change the resolution but it wouldn't work.

Any way to beat the takeda blitz?
If its your first run, don't.
The blitz is tedious and should only be done if you want to unlock the Takeda house. Thats an annoying procedure that should take a New Game + run that focus on that, likely not the normal route to have more freedom.

And if its New Game +, then get Masamune and Mori houses and have a servicable army accumulated over time.

Don't bother on a first run. IIRC the encounter's specifically coded so that unless you only had a single territory bordering Takeda, the blitz will never focus on a single territory and specifically avoids trying to capture entire tiles. IIRC you can't even go to war with Takeda without at least two bordering tiles and unless you screwed up with Kenshin you'll have those two tiles guaranteed, plus the ones from Ashikaga. Conquering Takeda won't take as long as you think it will, either, but I'm not spoiling that point.

On re-plays, it's perfectly doable as long as you bum rushed enough high value commanders but you'd have to have been planning it from square one. Alternatively a couple of the commanders- Mori?- are basically designed to hard counter melee attackers and just having them on the board with the right build will have the three cavalry commanders shred themselves to bits.

It's just something they love to do in their strat games. A blitz that can really only be prevented/stopped in new game +

Much like the Dai series with things like the CORE rush taking over half the universe if you invade the US, but don't completely take them over and the President unleashes them.

Actually, kind of weird that Daiteikoku isn't on the site come to think of it..

it can be done in first run. when it was popular someone did it in a video on youtube
it was a rather long playthrough, but he even defeated orochimaru :)

It's doable, but it's unreasonable to expect someone who's actually fresh to the game will accomplish it.

And it lowkey violates what Alicesoft recommends when playing the game- go make mistakes, don't look up guides.
