I had to modify it using URM but it should work now. My advice is to use an older save as you seem to not have Eve in the elf village for some reason( she is the one who give you her house to stay on it/rest so you could stay until night) but either way do whatever you like.
I fixed my problem after reading someone else fixing theirs for a different problem. I opened GabeQuestline.rpy and under "label gabeQuestions1", you will see the point where it crashes, where it says "jump gabestudy1." I rewrote that to look like "jump gabeStudyingPt2." Kind of weird, don't know where else a label is simply called gabestudy, everywhere else is gabeStudyingPt1,2,3,4. Had fun, learned how to code just now
Just to add to this since I couldn't find the cheat codes anywhere hehe. Here are the ones I found scooping around for anyone as dumb and lazy as me that wants to cheat but doesn't know how:
The "gabeStudying" labels used to have many different names, one of which was "gabestudy1", while rewriting the labels to be more coherent and look more readable, I forgot to change the jump statement

You can farm as much as you want in the beginning if you don`t progress in the quests, but after some quests you skip content if you don`t pay attention to the story.
