Very creative but I that offense to statements to that...It's art from Cyberpunk2077. How it's read depend on which side of the globe you are. Europeans read from left to right, Japanese from right to left, for example, but it's supposed to say "FUCK NTR"
no not really i would say that its stupid that people think rape in games is bad which it isntI double-dare you to post that comment on the changeorg petition website, or something similar...I think it would be funny as dog-poo...but I'm sure you'd be too scared to do it.
Well, you're certainly not going to get any argument from me. But I guarantee that on certain forums that saying something like would cause a riot of women to find out where you live and lynch right in your front yard. When I was trying to find a download link for the game i got caught up reading some of the reactions just cuz I'm like-minded with you. Apparently it got caught by the mid-west church anti-everything militia and they threw a freakin' fit...you don't f' with the hard-core bible beaters.no not really i would say that its stupid that people think rape in games is bad which it isnt
I just downloaded from somewhere else and would be willing to share the CG. I haven't checked the OP download but if the screenshots are a reflection of the resolution, the ones I have way better. I've turned officially anti-lo-res.
If someone could tell me in super simple terms how to add to this thread? No, I'm not ilerate just f'ing lazy...
Nice. Good answer. You a gamer? Aside from smut/hentai games, of course...bring those bitches they will be lynched first before i do
yeah i play ps4 and games on steamNice. Good answer. You a gamer? Aside from smut/hentai games, of course...
Sure, that sounds all well and good, but it's pretty obvious that the developer just made a cheap asset flip, put "rape" in the title of the game and released it on steam to stirr up controversy. Which succeeded. A genuine review of the game is relatively useless to 1) the developer since he doesn't care and 2) the community since it's not very likely that this game will be played because of it's own merrits but because of the controversy surrounding it.Netizens.. let's judge this game on its merits alone AS A PLAYER. When the dev finds this thread, he needs to know how we judge his work without the color of controversy applied.
If you can rise to occasion and just post your opinion on the game itself as you played it, that is exactly what this thread needs. This is what we need- "I played this game and the renders are (be specific and point out why). The dialogue was boring/captivating/childlike/spot-on (because I felt...). And the plot was generic/broken/interesting (describe why). It could get better or couldn't get any worse and this is why." - That is a statement by a true hero in this thread.
Heroes don't always find the links. They play the game and give direct feedback. They are the heroes who change the devs and the games for the better. Focusing on the controversy without offering anything concrete isn't moving anything forward. That's just stirring the pot and you're no worse then the dev you're accusing of stirring up controversy.
One is a movie with millions of budget, get approval from producers, is a full-length movie attempting to tell a story even if the story is shit. The other one is an obvious asset flip that uses drama and drama alone to ramp up sales, the game itself is shorter than a highschooler's two-week attempt of a visual novel game, and the story had no thought whatsoever really because effortlessness is what the author intents.Okay, i honestly think this game is garbage and everything about it is just wrong. As for taboo themes, every country or society is entitled to censor or forbid questionable media.
But targeting the creator, when nothing illegal was done? I understand paypal or patreon cutting off nazis, but this is just laughable.
I thougt decades after Clockwork Orange, Cannibal Holocaust and A Serbian Movie we were over this. I mean, what is the difference between Lars van Trier making money from Antichrist and someone making money (or not) with shitty renpy games?
Sheesh
Drama stirs up problems, and to survive with the current polarized political climate, sometimes site rules would be broken or changed. Being deleted from nearly every site that has a name is but a byproduct of drama.PayPal has rules prohibiting the sale of porn and other adult services, and a long history of cutting off people who do (though they bend those rules for certain companies, like Patreon). This dev wasn't being unfairly targeted; it looks more like he didn't bother to do any research on what PayPal allows, or its history with adult businesses, and was unsurprisingly banned.
The fact that his DeviantArt account got deleted did surprise me. I thought they were pretty chill about porn, but I haven't bothered to look up their rules.
Yeah, same. Totally disappointing. With all the drama this came with, I was expecting it to be good. It's actually pretty boring, barely any story or likable (or rather fuckable) characters. The only good looking girl was the crazy girl that with the fat zombie sister imo.
I've no issues with rape content, but it should be done with a little class at least. Your idea is pretty cool and would make a far more interesting game, maybe especially if you did a double protagonist thing and played as both the rapist and the detective, eventually culminating in some grand finale (decision based ending based on both sides choices?).If the game was about a detective trying to catch the MC rapist, would it then be acceptable?
