If you eat him for power you are missing out. I am not talking sex, he makes for the best troop commander in my opinion. Just turn off gay and it will remove all his romance options but keep him as another kobold minion.

Issa is one of that characters I can't wrap my head around. I wonder what his ulterior motives are? I enjoy having him around and repeatedly scrambling his bussy into his guts, but still, he’s sus.

you haven't read some of the text during the mayles torture scenes have you... some of it gets pretty bloody. another when you neglect malice scenes and have someone other than heloise as your consort. though i'm pretty sure there's a certain tag that need enabled for that type of content.

One more tidbit I stumbled across was the song Adeline sang to us initially. That song reappears once more, when Mary-Anne sings to us, explaining that her mother sang it to her. Is there some deeper lore behind the song, which will be explained further down the line, in a possible step-sister plot line, or is it just a coincidence?

At the very least, he has enough brains to actually try something other than the zerg rush trick (aka "throw kobolds at wall until wall is no more").
I have yet to do that with Malice. "hey you. hold this rock. rub that wood with this rock, until i say stop." that's how kobold does it reeeally smooth. he knows you can just snap him in half, and gulp down the pieces, so he'll do as told.
Seems like an.... interesting design decision to softlock the game if you don't find a lair in time, without giving you the chance to fight back and only a vague indication that you should find one soon? Even attempting to find a lair in this state results in instant death.

I didn't mean the "skip" button... Auto-forward. As in, you flip it on and it flips through text pages on a timer.
Like for hecksake, there's settings in-game for it... But no keybind for it.

That's most likely something from the engine rather than the game, I think.
To be fair, you have a clear timer on screen, and the game is quite insisting on that point. It's not like it comes out of nowhere without you knowing what you have to do...

Or he's just... You know, just more articulate than other kobolds. They are every bit as revering as he is, the only difference is that his brain doesn't have the size of a pea.
