That was a jab at how the game’s “power fantasy” mode is an easy version of “dark fantasy”. There are no significant changes between the two (wow, you get to choose if you want to sacrifice a couple of your girls to the hordes, instead of being forced to), so the further we get into the game’s development, the more it feels like a misnomer.
For instance, one could imagine, in power fantasy mode, that the warlock (I forget his name) manages to clone Adeline’s power instead of ripping it from her—or at least manages to transfer it without making her braindead—or that the dragon could choose multiple consorts, or that Héloïse, Maëlys, and Marie-Anne could, together, get through to Valzira, or any other change that would make the “power fantasy” option into an ever so slightly less crapsack world than the “dark”.

You imagined a lot, but difficulty settings aren't supposed to radically alter the plotline.

Just copy and paste everything in the .rar into the same folder with Ravager.exe. let the folders merge and replace anything in there. I should test to see if the DRM Fix works without Unren I guess for people who don't know/want to use it but It's a .bat file we have in the tools section that is useful for almost every Ren'Py game out there. A few act funny if you use it but it's very few and there are ways around it.

To all who shall see this... I have tried this method on 5.2.1 and it works great! With luck it will continue to work with future versions.
Right, but it’s not labelled as a difficulty setting; it’s called “power fantasy”. The game presents it as a choice between two different experiences, when in reality it’s nothing but easy mode and hard mode.

Idk then, I do know I deleted the line of code that searches for .bat, .cmd and the steam workaround file (had a long name so didn't bother remembering it). May have just been a 1 time thing that was weird and you deleted Unren and it worked the next time. Games can just sometimes fuck up on start. I expect the dev to give a shot at adding DRM similar to workaround my stuff but beyond engine changing, you can't really prevent people from going into Ren'Py files so it's a waste of time. I do full on intend on buying the game but atm, I'm broke, jobless and damn near homeless. I only have internet cause brother pays for the cell phone.

Didn't for me, whole reason I even bothered to go digging in the files to see if there was anything I could fuck with to get any of the DRM removers to work and found the things I needed to delete to get them all to work again.
Whelp joiplay crashes in seconds when I try to play this game. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
Just wanted to say that Heloïse best girl by far, wish she could be muh queen, tho I can settle with her as the actual consort, mother of my child and favorite I guess.
