the walkthrough lets you skip that labor.

If a skillless individual uses a walkthrough on this game on his first playthrough and adheres to the walkthrough he will get the best results on the first attempt. because there is no skill involved.

If that same unskilled individual tries to play dark souls with a walkthrough, he is going to die many times to the bosses until/unless he develops the skills necessary to execute the walkthrough's instructions.

Take the worlds most skilled gamers and let them play ravager. They will fail to achieve good results (all waifus acquired and safe. progressed on time. good results on conquest. etc) on their first attempt so long as they are not using walkthrough, because no amount of skill can help you when you are flying blind.

Instead, you have to do is pick between:
a. cheat with god mode
b. cheat with walkthrough
c. spent an extreme amount of time mapping all paths.

This game is simply a mapping chore.

Can't YOU admit you are wrong? You are clearly in the wrong here and yet you don't admit it, why not?

me wrong? i JUST joined this conversion. but see here's the question, how are you right? patience is skill, mapping despite your claims otherwise is a skill (both of which you seem to clearly lack), and there this thing called saving and loading. just like when someone dies in non-dark souls game. also do remember your initial claim was that it was loosely paraphrased 'impossible' to have the perfect run on dark fantasy and how the game requires no skill.... you never admitted you were wrong on that either, despite someone's own guide telling you IT IS possible. (and my experience with the game can confirm) then spontaneously you added the condition that you need to be able to achieve a 'perfect run' on your first run as a very flammable strawman on a skill issue debate...

but hey, you can still play power fantasy. too bad you can't power fantasy your debates right? :KEK:

News flash: Some people are fucking morons and it's best not to go down the rabbit hole of idiocy for ones own sanity sake.

You nailed it on the head. There is saving and loading, a walkthrough that can guide players if they wish to go that route. There is always trial and error. But to say that you need a 'Perfect Run' for a first try? What is this Starfield? Baldar's Gate 3? Call of Fucking Duty??

i know, he's either trolling or he's not seeing his folly. either way though if he actually stuck to the enjoyment of his game being 'ruined' he would've had a slightly cohesive argument. i almost wanted to agree with him about the dragon not being able to have more than a single queen being forced drama. but i know it's an inheritance issue as much as a who shall govern when the dragon's asleep kind of hierarchy thing. so even supposing more marriages happen later they will likely be nothing more than 'spare' queens with no or lesser authority. if the dragon is ok with, or unwittingly, with how common fighting for the throne is with inheritance in IRL history.

Hmmm... I don't think there would be much infighting with the queens (unless it's Adeline/Val). Heloise would certainly be a fitting queen, same with Malice, mainly with the logic of in anything were to happen, they could handle the matter quickly. As for the commoners... Mina would be better off as Steward. Cooch would be a poor queen, same with our loveable little short stack of a fan. Kittens? Troublesome at best, horriblesome at worst. Naho? Unless broken we're kinda in a long haul with her being a rebel in the midst.

You get stretched very thin and it all just becomes a chore of gradual trial and error until you can squeeze out a path in which you get what you want without being forced to sacrifice something you don't want to. For a casual, shorter porn game, it just doesn't feel that optimized, and feels much more enjoyable when you can ignore that entire system.

Its not like I hate the game. Because at least they had the forethought to let you just opt out of the badly designed "game" part.
And like you said this is in no way shape or form a unique problem. Pointless grind as well as route mapping are both very common in the porn game industry.

I enjoy the game for what it is.
Good art to fap too with a story I enjoy. And I even like some characters.
Malice is best girl. With Heloise a close second.

adaline and malagar playing advocate aside, i was more referring to the future kids fighting for the throne with the last bit of my points. by having an official queen you create a hierarchy, and this hierarchy is intended to stop or limit the fighting to come. (i don't think it stops jack shit tho) thus any future queens 'would' either need their authority curbed or no future queens at all. so i was pretty much saying the drama with who gets to be the queen presently in the game is not being as forced as it appears.

cool. story. bro. lemme know when you figure out patience and how to map. and how neither of these somehow constitute as skills at all. (yes i mostly agree that games like darksouls require a higher level of skill, but 'lesser' skills such as patience and mapping still count as skills.)

Well... heres the thing... We ain't getting any true kids out of theses queens, other than Adeline and maybe Fangirl via Malagar. Unless of royal blood, everone is popping out kolbolds, possible dragkitten and dragwolves. Another naga if possible but even then thats a sorta maybe. As with Dragon + Naga = ????, unsure. So interms of that, Kobolds are out of the succession line, even if they are intelligent enough to rule.

and that's another reason why none of the other women are in the running no? :p thus the 3 choices and no queen choice isn't as forced as it appears. (i mostly blame adaline and malagar having no chill)

Just wait until the clown learns that Dark Souls, much like Ravager, has many elements which aren't affected by "skill", but require trial and error to figure out. :KEK:

There's almost ZERO chance anyone can get perfect playthrough of DS without a walkthrough. There's always an item you're gonna forget, or an NPC you're gonna miss. :KEK:

ACT III: You will get an entirely redundant 5-th str point. From then on you can eat even more cattle at farm(6), eat mina's oxen(7), fight 10 men during Mina's scam event for another +1 (8), pay 1 gold to have your kobold attendant (make something for me-> sacrifice) boost you a whooping, if entirely useless +3 str.(11)
ACT: IV Yet another automatic and entirely useless +1str(12)

For maelys you need to know whether you want to have her as a slave or ally and go through her event in the forests *DURING ACT II*. Watch her get raped for a +slave point or save her via charm or str check for +ally point. This also makes it so that you need to succeed in only 1 check during the battle at the lair to win her over.

Theres the Temple (Proteans) in the coastlands (either go to the swamp or catch a ride on a boat) or the Tower in the Mountains (campfire) and you'll get Malagar as a possible ally.

If you have more than one elf, then future adult Malice informs you shortly after her conception that she used her reality warping powers to make it impossible for another naga to be conceived so long as she is alive. So you are free to go nuts fucking elves.
