I have every intention of continuing - a lot of crap came up in my personal life (new job, family member in the hospital [not making excuses or looking for pity, just some reasons] that made me have to put this really on the back-burner. Your message is auspicious timing, as next week is the first week in some time I can actually dedicate some significant time to this project.
The time I had spent on it in the past few months was met with many challenges, really felt like every step I took forward, I was taking two steps back - this also led to frustration on my part which made it even more difficult to work of the game.
I certainly appreciate your interest in the game despite my failure to deliver, well, anything at this point.
I'm really hoping this next week I can turn things around on the game and get steady progress once again.
That being said, progress has been made on the game, especially with rebuilding and solidifying the experience of what was there in 0.1. The truth of the matter is that I released 0.1 too soon, as a neophyte developer, I really hit that dunning-kruger effect pretty damn hard. There was a lot I had to go back and fix to make a more enjoyable experience for both myself and the player.
Short answer is - I'm alive, the project is not dead, but I'm essentially a turtle with my speed of development.
Thank you for your patience.
