The quest will not appear in the quest list neither the girl in any forest.

It seems I forgot to add that quest to the quest journal, but you should still be able to complete it.
Did you finish the tavern girl’s quest? She will give you the location where you can find the flower. In the same location, you’ll also find the little girl.

Did you speak with the witch yet? She should tell you to find the demon. Only after this will you be able to speak with the cyclops.

Yes, I do plan to give different skills to companions. There is a walkthrough in the game folder, so you can check where you are and what quests are left to complete.OH. I see.

i try to speak to the witch she is asking for demonroot from the cursed forest where it will be
I like the game but still cannot tell when the content is over, as well I refused to lick the wizards foot I trust this was an option and does not affect future things

I accepted to save the elves and prepare to attack the bandits, but I went to Selena's barracks and talked to her and got "No more content"

Buy a house if you have not done so yet, and sleep there.
After resting, move to the world map and head to the forest near the village.
After the scene, return to the Elven Village to witness a scene with Selene.
Nothing scene triggering

After meeting the princess and returning to the elven village, you should see a heart symbol near the pond. Clicking on it will trigger the scene.
