I didn't say that the game is bad, nor good. I have no idea, I've never played anything related to this developer... The only thing I said is that if you're going to put something so recognizable on the cover (the first thing you see of the game is the big cover image) it's synonymous with a lack of creativity...
Everyone should aim to create their own image to be recognized by. You can have all the most used products in history in your game and nobody prevents it and nobody criticizes that. But try to make the first image that everyone sees of your game unique and not show something repeated...
Take for example the famous "M" from McDonald's... You want to create your own fast food chain and it happens that your name is something like McArthur?... Do whatever, but don't put something similar to the M of a well-known brand in your logo.

no one really cares. it's just a banner for a side story. it will mostly appeal to fans of the main game.
CNG didn't need to try be creative or try to appeal to new players.
and it's just a background. the main focus is Becca in the foreground, and there is no doubt the LI from Single Again have a unique style. whether we like it or not.

As the game is on Patreon, I don't think it will outright say Becca is Frank's daughter, but it will heavily imply it.

And the her personality? Almost polar opposite as she is in Single Again.

she might still have this personality in the main game. she just grew more confident with what she wants, and she needs to be for her plan to succeed, otherwise MC would not go along with it. also, she had 4 years to own her kinks and not feel any shame in them. when she is in control, she stick to her confident persona. but when MC surprises her, she would slip back to her shy introverted side.

that whole plot line derailed. Now Becca's been behaving completely counter
to "The Plan" she spent so long to compile. And finally we have Quinn!
It should have been Quinn, not Mei. All that talk of Quinn and NOW we have her.
Mei wants a husband. She's counter productive to this. Quinn just likes to fuck
and cater to Becca's kinks. Partners in crime. She'd respect the plan.

Can we PLEASE get back to this story line and this story telling?

Becca having her own plans doesn't mean MC has to fully go along with it no questions asked. He did set some clear boundaries before moving forward, and those already upset her plan. one of them being Abby being completely off limits.
So adding Mei now doesn't really mean much. especially if she is going to be around them a lot because of her parents, it would make it much easier to enjoy their time with MC if Mei is brough along for the ride instead of having to sneak around and keep secrets when she is there.
Mei doesn't want a husband. it's her parents that want a husband for her. she only wanted a normal life, and letting her crush for MC bloom a bit. She is much easier to control than Quinn.
you say Quinn respect the plan, but she is a chaotic variable. you already see in this side story that she pushes Becca's boundaries against her will. only because she thinks it's best for her newbie friend. she didn't respect Becca's wishes. she only wanted to enjoy herself.

the game is also about the concept of Family. and Mei's parents think of MC as family, so by extension, Mei and MC could view each other as family too. then Becca would include Mei to make MC happy as it is the end goal. having everyone be happy.

she probably already knows it. she says here that "girls are nice" but that "she likes guys". so she probably already finds girls attractive, but doesn't want to be labeled a freak and focuses on her attraction to boys (MC specifically). she just lacks the confidence to own it at that point in time, I think.

I replayed to main story and found this to go with what Becca figured out about her birth date it make me think she is Franks Daughter. And Becca knows it!

in the main game and in lilith's side story, Becca never calls Trevor her dad. she always says something like "Lily's dad" or a variant of it. it felt very intentional.
it was one of the big hints that she knew that MC could be her own father. and now we know how she came to use that specific phrasing.

I'll just add this:

Most of us who've been in the forum for the last few years have talked Becca's likely bio-dad to death. Logically, I think the odds are in Frank's favor, but story-wise, I think it makes more sense that there's a third (or baker's dozen) option that actually fits the circumstances better than Frank supplying the baby-making fluids.

The idea that Shannon would get pregnant with Frank's baby, then run away or be sent away only to marry someone she'd never met so they could raise her knowing she couldn't be his -- as crazy as she seems to be -- still makes less sense than her getting caught up in some sort of random-party hook-up/orgy and realizing the baby probably isn't/can't be Frank's and choses to skedaddle at that point rather than risk Frank finding out after he starts raising her that Becca wasn't his child.

Anyway, for all we know CNG is going to flip a coin before giving us the results of the test and let the debris fall where it may.
