Wanna write a mini-review, but don't want to give a raiting just yet. Here're my two cents:
I appreciate a lot the fmc route. Though it does feel weird being treated like a man. Meaning stuff like "WAAH" when you walk in on a girl bathing, or kicking a thug's ass with your fists after like three training sessions with a sword? Occasional looks down to see your boobs help distracting form this a bit tbf. But yeah, makes you feel like you aren't playing the way it's intended.
Story is pretty good at times, or rather storytelling. But when characters start talking... Sometimes it feels like they aren't speaking, not texting even, it's like they are writing thoughtful letters to each other and confirming that they have recieved the input. That sucks the life out of characters. People just don't communicate this way.
Well, this came out as bitching, but that's because I like the game in many ways. If I were to point out the good stuff - training system is great, tickles my progression bone; code is neat, no bugs or inconsistencies from choices that ruin the immersion; speaking of choices, I like that they matter, even if they are silly sometimes; renders are good and dynamic (Valerie creeps me out a bit, but well, she was born this way I guess); music, effects, transitions are very nicely done, they flow well.

I really love this kind of isekai setting, and Valérie turned out to be such an incredibly endearing character. She feels alive, caring, and her story is written in a way that makes it easy to grow attached to her very quickly.
What impressed me the most is how the game handles the “sharing” path. Normally, I absolutely dislike sharing or netorase content — I avoid it completely. But here, the way it’s written is different: the player always has control. You can choose to play with the line a little bit, or decide to never go too far, and the story still makes sense and stays emotionally consistent. On the other hand, if someone actually enjoys that kink, the option is also fully fleshed out for them. This level of freedom is very rare in the genre, and honestly I can’t think of another game that respects the player’s choice with a love interest as much as Rebel Duet does.
On top of that, the relationship with Valérie really feels like a genuine love story. It’s not just erotic content layered on top of a generic VN — it feels like something real, emotional, and carefully built through the writing. That’s what makes it so special for me.
It really feels like the developer wanted every player to enjoy the journey in their own way, without ever being forced into something that breaks immersion or feels out of character. That’s a huge achievement in my opinion, and it shows how much care was put into the writing and design.
Overall, I absolutely adore this game, and I have nothing but respect for the author — truly, amazing work!

I actually loved the battle explanation between rena and that masked assassin. I genuinely felt worried that she might get captured or injured heavily in that scene and we would have to rescue her later. Thank god that didn't happen. Hoping to have more tender moments with rena and the elf like we had with valerie this update . Hopefully mc also tells rena and the elf girl about her past
most AI is not consistent enough for reproduction and usability. it looks good for one-off shots, but not for constancy.

I really liked that we got to see Rena being effective in a battle. We've only really seen her fail to breach the couple's plot armor and be depowered for a while. Seeing her win a battle against a dangerous opponent not only pushes her but also makes the couple seem more powerful in comparison for having vanquished her earlier.

I would prefer to know what's the sharing in this game. All I see is some blokes explaining what's ntr or what not.
The sharing only happens if the MC truly wants it. Valérie is deeply in love with him and, despite her nature as a succubus, she is actually reluctant at first. For example, when some clients try to flirt with her at the tavern, she pushes them away — and already at that moment the MC can decide whether he’s comfortable with any flirting at all.
On the second attempt, she’ll still push them away, but her reaction depends a little on how open the MC was in the first response (she’s still a succubus, after all). But it’s always very clear: she won’t do anything the MC doesn’t want.
Later, when she talks about the evening, the MC gets three clear choices: total sharing, sharing only with the MC’s love interests, or full monogamy. And here it’s important to note: by her own words, Valérie admits she prefers love stories between two people, like in the books she enjoys. So monogamy feels the most natural to her, but she can accept sharing if it makes the MC happy.
If the MC chooses total sharing, Valérie even asks him to set the boundaries — men, women, both? Can she do it without him present, or not? And even with permission, she might still stop short depending on the player’s choices, which is coherent with her character. At the core, Valérie is very much in love, and everything revolves around the MC’s will.

Basically you have a Succubus girlfriend who, unlike others of her kind, is totally loyal to the MC.
At some point in the game you can give her permission to have sex with other people or not. She will not touch anyone else unless you let her.
It's not NTR because she will not cheat on the MC.

Truth. Despite its disambiguation in this forum, it must be said that NTR is a very specific subgenre with conventions that go beyond the female characters having sex with other men. Swinging games, femdom games, and cuckolding games are often conflated with the genre, but if you aren't sad while you are jerking off, it probably isn't NTR. Netorare is defined as "loss porn" and if it isn't the guy losing the girl or girls to someone else through a series of progressively more fucked-up sexual encounters, it doesn't really fit the scope of the genre. It seems a pretty equal split of him being oblivious, suspicious, or impotent, but the point of the genre is that he cannot affect the outcome for one reason or another. This is why avoidable NTR is sort of a misnomer and why most true NTR VNs are either kinetic novels or "treasure hunt" RPGM games. Let's not even get into why NTR doesn't work with a female MC. In my estimation, this cheery game is about as far from NTR as you can get without jumping on a rocket. If some Chad from an NTR game tried to take Valerie away from the MC, she would probably immolate him.

FMC NTR can work. A woman can also feel loss of her partner being stolen by another woman/man. It's common when a woman is older and a younger girl perpetrator.

I am but i'm not, i'll explain.
Billy Idol is a bit before my time (rub that in to all you old timers .... of which my girlfriend is one of you so should really shut the fuck up about peoples ages)..... as such I heard Scooters version long before Idol's.
My big sister was in the clubbing scene when Scooter was gaining popularity so when me and my twinsy came along in the late 90's she was into all that kind of music. House, trance, happy hardcore etc.. etc..
Our parents were into 60's, a brother into the 80's, other siblings listening to whatever and our sister listening to anything with a beat se could bop her extasy riddled self to. Our music tastes would grow with the years but in the early days of being sproglings our sister did most of the caring so it was her music we heard most in our formative years.
I didn't hear Idol's original until I was 12 but I loved Scooters version by then.
