The only doing of the spell is to suggest her to stay longer, you don't even need to use it again when you ask her if you should leave.
The scene with Miri should have been darker(closer to rape) to justify the soulstain. The devs probably choose to stay away from that, because rape is another level of shit. I don't blame them, but it's a scratch on the story telling.
