Think of it as plastic surgery on yourself, except you're not using a scalpel, well not usually. You can shape flesh like play-dough. At higher levels you can shape muscles, fat and even bones too. The effects are permanent although the power can be always be used to make new changes. You could even change yourself back if you remember what you looked like before or have an old picture to work off of. If you're not very skilled you're probably better off practicing on pets and war thralls ("vozhd") instead of working on yourself.

There was (for a very very long time) the canon lore that visiccitude was a parasitic infection or symbiotic “thing” that invaded a being. This canon lore seems to have been removed as most fans and purchasers of the products voiced displeasure with this view.
In any case, you are able to do to your body face etc whatever you can imagine, from the most horrific, or alien, or human, or super human looks you desire. Your war form however is scary hideous and very very dangerous.

Depending on the bloodline, Cindy might not even have to swing to win. Though it does speak well that she was "surprisingly strong". With her good looks, chances are she is full on Ninja, being the assistant to Calisto. She is probably a squad of ninjas with enhanced fuck and suck all your blood out skills.

She could have thought any number of things, but then again, probably wouldn't allow herself to do that knowing the goddess that Calisto is. She would have to assume the MC is going to be much more than a street rat, but still age generally will trump generation unless it is crazy stuff we are talking.
Years ago, I was running an Elder campaign. In those 2nd edition rules you had waaaaay more stuff than modern rules do, but in fairness they say use the early work as a basis to adapt to current 5th edition VtM. Now 5th edition is all about playing the weak blooded ultra high generations, as all the elders are slowly drifting off to their form of Ragnarok. (appropriate since that has shit tons of gods dying etc)
So what is left behind are the spoo basically.
Anyway back to the Elder campaign, in the Elder book you could make an elder that was between 10th generation (weaker) to 5th generation (crazy stronger) Clan founders would be the grandsires of the 5th generation, and you could even make them Methuselah as well, since the semi requirements are 4th or 5th gen and 1000 years old+. Anyhow they were playing the equivalent of very high stakes poker.
They had family trees of vampires they sired in their own little crime families and I think one guy came up with a great write up for his own bloodline. Anyhow, all these guys were 7th generation or so, except one (bloodline guy) who was 5th. Now paying for that meant he didn't have points to spend on other things so it all kind of worked out.
They kept having problems with some of their operations getting mugged, and they were slowly but surely murdering and or socially murdering those they thought involved. When it finally came down to the big reveal of who had been giving them crap, it was this 8th generation Catiff (clan less) who had gotten screwed over by each of the characters, at one of their pivotal moments in the current night's pre history (we played about one adventure per 50 years from their last breathing night, and over time they had solidified and taken over the City of St Louis. St Louis has been kind of a rough place for a long time, and none of the group was from there (we were all in Florida) so no one would get pissed if I took a shit on parts of the town as they could give a fuck.
Anyhow during each of their histories, which they had to write the basics of and we would follow like an outline for our weekly game night, there were always a few survivors who they screwed that were so far below them that they never gave it another thought...
None of them were 1000 years old, as they were all a result of the Council of Thorns which formed the Camarilla, and the Inner Council let every signatory Elder, sire a childe as a sign of this new alliance. (1493 AD I believe)
Their nemesis, had been one of the priests in training when Cleopatra was around, and in old Egypt (as that is no where near ancient Egypt) around year Zero of the Common Era, put our 8th generation catspaw on the ass end of a pimple socially for vampires. 8th generation would have been about as weak as you might find without some weird reason. The fact he was clan less only made his shitty unlife even more shitty.
So here this 2000 year old, pretty much raging pissed off dude, with every skill he could have mixed, every attribute maxed a shit ton of powers maxed for his generation. His wealth, and minions, and fingers of influence all pretty well maxed. And he made those 6 super Elders pretty much shit themselves.
Once they knew who he was though, it was the beginning of his ending, and while I think he committed diablerie on a couple of them, and financially screwed with another, the last 3 pulled epic Quentin Terrintino on his ass, and basically fucked him in every single way they could. They even killed him, but that was not enough as one of them was an accomplished necromancer. They were satisfied. I was satisfied. And it taught me that even the mighty can fall to some who are also mighty, just in unexpected ways.

Given Calisto's age and power, as Calisto's assistant, Cindy might well be a powerful elder herself, powerful enough to snap the MC in two like a twig. I'd avoid unnecessarily angering or alienating her, at least until we have a better sense of her power level, and if Calisto and Fabian haven't tipped her off regarding the MC's lineage, I wouldn't either. She might decide that diablerizing the MC would be a quicker route to power than several more centuries of bowing and scraping for Calisto. Or she might see the MC as unwanted competition for Calisto's favor and sell information about the MC's lineage to Marcius and others who are even more dangerous in hopes that they'd eliminate him via diablerie.

I'm actually feel that I'm being forced to agrree with you.
I too wouldn't cross someone in a vampire setting or talk to much or ..., if I don't know what they are capable of.
For Cindy she is, at the moment, uncharted, even more than Fabian or Calisto. We do have some pointers for Fabian or Calisto, but not (yet) for Cindy.
In any case, we should assume that Callisto would choose thoughtful the person who shall be her lady's maid. So I don't think that Calistos lady's maid would be a pushover and, as you've written, could snap the MC in two like a twig.

When I got my Patreon notice, I instantly went and looked. Verified it was Sunday, and then went back to doing normal stuff. Later when looking at the picture I became more focused on the book Sharon is looking at. It struck me as some kind of diary, with a diagram or picture of a structure of some kind. I immediately wondered if it might have been the feral Nos' diary from before she went insane, and if it detailed the location of the Nos Scottstown hideout.
The I kept looking and wondered if it might be something she found that was more related to "The Temple". Calisto runs the Temple. Now some of Calisto's associates have been in Marcius' court, Cindy, Fabian, and MC, but Calisto has not. With Fabian being associated with both Calisto and cousin to the MC, my brain got to thinking, always a dangerous thing when on caffeine, and I then wondered about the following(having nothing to do with the Nos, or much of anything else, but the brain does what it does:
1- MC described his sire to Sharon, and Sharon shared that with Marcius. Given that neither had a clue, that means that Calisto is not seen much if at all at the Archon Marcius' court. (there were voluptuously endowed red heads at his court, and neither of them thought they were the MC's sire) They both were not just unsure of who it was, but had no clue.
2- Given 1 above, Calisto is not a visible mover or shaker in the Princep's court. (VISIBLE) And yet, she was able to have an Ancilla (Sharon) declared as an Archon with her own fiefdom to play in while educating her childe. So clearly she as Heiria (whatever that may be) and the leader/owner of an extremely important Elysium (place for vampires to come and gather in complete safety from plots and assassination (in theory) (The Temple) has tremendous power in the city.... but Marcius who is an Elder and Archon, and Sharon, an Ancilla and social gal, do not know of her. Further, Markus who leads the Nos of Marcius' court, an Elder also, does not know who the MC's sire, or clan, or powers really are. Cindy and Fabian both walked around in court on the night that the Quaestar (spelling??) who is apparently very closely tied to the actual ruling court of the city. Fabian even accompanies the Q guy.
2a- Now I had thought that Fabian might be somehow blood related (sires of same clan) to the MC based on his familiarity with Calisto and the vision, and his reference as the MC being his cousin. If Fabian is a Templar as stated in the story, then logic would lead one to think that Calisto is the regent or leader of the local chapter of Templars, and that Calisto's sire was probably the grand sire of Fabian, or maybe great grand sire, who knows. (He clearly knows the MC is a tasty morsel for diablerie).
Given the disdain that Sharon has for Fabian and Templars, it is clear she is really clueless about them. The Tremere in VtM which seem like a good match for the Templars, or the Giovanni, or the Assamite Sorcerers, or even Tzmisce Koldunic Sorcerers, or Setite Blood Sorcerers could all be possibilities, but each of those are some of the most powerful creatures in existence. Sharon's lack of knowledge in this case, would make her Darwinian chances of long term vampire survival pretty slim.
The powers that our MC has pretty much demonstrated are definitely a panoramic view of disciplines. He has combat disciplines as well as espionage and mind control. He would have to study for blood sorcery, but that will be simple for him if it is in his bloodline. There is truly not an analogy for the massive list of powers our MC has. This is a good thing, because as you guys know, I like to speculate. I am so looking forward to Sunday. (not sure when it hits here, probably a few minutes after, but I will be downloading from Patreon.)

My friend, I am with you, as to my pic I shared. I think that Tzimisce is crazy hot, dangerous, and of course my brain will not save me from running down her pathway. I could actually resist Vision Girl Melissa Clone much easier than the right side of the pic I shared. Calisto??? No question I would fricking be done, roasted and toasted.I agree with you. It a lot of girls in VNs have a better look. The image as whole grabs my attention. To use the crazy-hot scale again (6-7 hot, 8+ crazy), I would for certain put her on the crazy side on not safe level. But on the same time this is what is attracting me to the picture.
Or you can much likely give a girl a longsword and good look, also made her look a little devil and dangerous and put "Hey c3p0. I'm very much intressted in you. Care to join me on this kamikaze mission?". And my logical part of my mind - I tend to believe the logical part of my mind is 95 % and the emotional part is 5 %, yet the uncertainty is also 5 % - would cease to be working.

Sharon for me is a very different experience. As far as vampires go, she seems innocent and wholesome... odd words, but I am using them. She is the "Hey Mom, here is my girlfriend Sharon, who is a blood sucker with discipline and won't rip your face off" My Tzimisce situation would be " Hey Mom, so like I wanted to say thank you for being so great for all these years.
