You know, I have a quick IQ test for you. You already mentioned that IPatch was abandoned twice. Hmm... What about the first guy (newgamecall) who made this patch? The last patch was for version 0.7, so it's not the beginning of the game. Who do you think it was? Some mysterious savior, an angel from heaven, a messiah for incest lovers?

It seems strange to me that he appeared out of nowhere and also disappeared without a trace, and was only active in this thread, before and after the patch. Yeah, I know what you're going to say: it's definitely not someone related to the game.

But you must be right, we don't have any confirmation, like an official letter from the dev with signatures and seals, or an official statement on his Patreon page

This is the post that was being disputed, in case you forgot. The initial version was clearly meant to be incest, which is what Mars88's response was illustrating. It's immaterial that the dev later changed it to avoid getting booted off patreon (or if they just decided incest is icky and didn't want to do it anymore).

No, he decided he wanted to keep making money and not get banned on Patreon. Almost every new developer that starts out is not aware of all the rules for Patreon. So many games that start with incest, and then come here, and people starte yelling, incest and on Patreon? Well, you can say goodbye to your Patreon.

It's so easy to report a game on Patreon and they rarely actual check the game and just straight ban the develoepr.

Nah, I mean if you've been around long enough you can tell the official patches form the fan made by rando's. Just like there is a special patch repository they could use, but some decide not.

Oh I'm aware now that he was trying to bring up the very very first version of the game (which he could have just... you know... said, instead of the rudeness). He was right that v0.1 did have incest and I was unaware. Consider me corrected on that point. Silly me... I've only played the game for two years starting with v0.3, a mere 4 months after the game released and none of the versions I played ever had incest in it. How was I supposed to know some one was going to try to bring up an extremely outdated version that had dialogue that has been long since been overwritten, and then try to use that as reason to argue? But to be accurate, I guess I'll amend my original statement by saying "There hasn't been incest in the game from v0.2a through v0.10". I'm glad that's settled. :ROFLMAO:

I'd also point out that Mars's unnecessary interjection about v0.1 really had no relevance to the point of my post in the first place, which was my opinion that the non-incest dialogue feels more authentic, and that the games doesn't feel like it's meant to be incest. Not anymore. Whether it was initially because of Patreon or some other reason, the dev clearly dropped the incest altogether and I think he decided to roll with the non-incest relationships and the way the characters have interacted over the last 2 years of development reflects that. In other words, the game has no implied incest or taboo scenes, which is inconsistent with incest devs trying to side-step Patreon's rules.

Here's a question though, for those who want incest in this game... Given the context of this story, why is it so important to you to have the MC romance his "mother" and "sister"? Does it impact the story in any meaningful way to you? If not, why are you so insistent that there must be incest injected into this story?

I've already brought this up once before to filo, and I'll say it again in case anyone missed it. If you want incest in the game then YOU can take up the currently unmaintained unofficial incest mod. GetOutOfMyLab already explained what's involved. It should be easy to do. Passion_Portal notably chose not to use flags or placeholders for character relationships unlike almost every other dev that actually intends for incest. So you'll have to check for differences after every update then do full text replacements. You can take that up yourself, if you really want to inject incest into a game that doesn't need it.

Dude, it's so obvious that the developer just used incest in the beginning to attract the large audience that this fetish has and continues to use, everything in this game pointed to incest and no one can deny that it was sold as an incest game to most of us and with the patches the game made sense it was what it should have been from the beginning but the developer just used that and continues to use it to attract audiences so let's be honest and say we were basically fooled lol There are many developers who do this, they take advantage of a false TAG to attract players by deceiving them, this is the case here, we just have to leave things to new players and those who are being deceived that this is not an incest game.

What I really love about this game is the implementation of the different paths.

Even though you have love/lust/submission/domination paths (And it plays out quite differently)
It does not change the underlying story, and it also does not fundamentally change the MC's personality.

I mean there is another game on f95 (FIN) where the same MC can be a really good guy or a rapist/psycopath and every shade in between. Although I love that game, you can not put a personality on the MC, since he can be so varied. The one MC cannot be the same guy as the other MC.

In this game, they are still the same guy, but with different flavours.

I really enjoyed pretty much everything about this VN though I am a bit conflicted on the Chloe paths. She is my favorite, I usually play the romance/love routes before everything else as I normally prefer that over the usual lust/slut kinda routes. In this VN though in the stranger route you are a liar and hiding the truth from her which is not something I would normally enjoy, the alternative is the love route.

In the love route you get forced (no choices) into streaming with Chloe, during the stream you show off her body and tell her she should stream semi naked (no choice) while groping her (choice) this does not seem much like a love/romance route to me. Seems more like exhibitionism and half way to sharing, the stranger route so far is not forced into showing her off on stream but you are a liar, feel's like a let down for me. The dev seems to be better at doing more dom related scene's, pushy, forceful mc than any kind of love and romance not too mention you simply get more content by going lust over love. :(
