Look, Dax, you know I've been a patron for quite some time, and I've always been really cautious in my statements, even defending LF in this thread when I felt that lies were being used to attack him. I'm happy to see that you are finally coming around and realizing that something doesn't add up here; that way you'll not keep making excuses that you don't owe to anybody since you're not responsible for anything, and don't even see the full picture.

As we know, LeFrench publicly gave himself 1 year to decide if this project was worth his time. That first year ended last summer, and it was obvious from his reactions hat he wasn't happy with the numbers the game was bringing in, which is understandable. Still, he apparently kept working as usual, talking about all the improvements he was set on doing, how Vision was gonna implement some cool features, etc.
Sadly, the truth quite different from that. I don't know anything about what can be happening in his private life, all I do know is that the game's development no longer seems to be a priority despite whatever he might claim on the contrary.
I cancelled my subscription two days ago after being a patron for 13 or 14 months, so it will not be renewed after the 31st July. I've been really clear on this site about how much I despise braindead patrons who enable disingenuous or even conning behaviours, so it's only fair to practise what I preach. On the 1st August I will become a patron of a different dev whose game I really enjoy (no incest in this one, in case someone is wondering :HideThePain:)

And now, since I'm on "civilized rant mode," I would also like to point out that I'm still waiting for the story to convince me that those initial sexual interactions between MC and Kat weren't rushed and unwarranted. I pointed out that, since apparently Kat and MC had never engaged in sexual intercourse before the start of the game considering their conversation in bed right at the beginning, it seemed a bit stupid and sudden to me that they would start doing it right when the story starts for us, the players, without much explanation or build-up. More than one year ago, LF stated that it would all make sense as the story moved forward, so we needed to be patient.
Yeah, I'm still waiting.

Where's the problem? It's an official rule of this side. And it would not be the first time, that after adding the Abandoned Tag, magically an update gets released.

But i also get your point of view. I'm myself not a fan of denounce other people, but hey, that's how F95 works and our society generaly. Sadly more and more...

ive worked with volf3n (that's his name on discord) before. at some point he started just going after devs and people in general whenever he had the chance to. dunno why he does it, but it's concerning.

the rule that games get abandoned is ofc totally fine. its a website rule and simply goes by time.

Yeah, from what I've seen Lefrench finished the update, meaning renders I assumed. Vision was working on the project to do his part, the coding and tech stuff. Then eventually Lefrench pointed out vision was actually finished and it was Lefrench who was stalling the update (adding more renders?). Then we see more info about Lefrench's banking situation. The IRL stuff I thought was something Lefrench was dealing with not vision. but if seemingly both are dealing with IRL stuff, and in visions case enough to make him step away, that's sad to hear.

I hope lefrench isn't stepping away from this project, I really want to see it continue, and consider it one of the most interesting games around. I was also a patron for a while, but after christmas of 2022, for me, the content wasn't enough to continue supporting. I did and do still want to see red lucy continue and don't regret helping this project move forward, because it's still one of the best IMO. Not to mention from what I've read this coming update seems to be pretty awesome, and what was planned furthermore aswell. sorry you're stressing about your role as a mod for the discord Daxter and thanks for trying to keep fans of the game in the loop, even though you don't have to

well if lefrench doesnt have strength, will or nerves to continue to work on red lucy in a proper speed ima try to convince him to turn it into a hobby. that way the game will stay alive and he can work on it whenever he feels like with no strings attached.
