Although it is abandoned, it's still worth playing if only for the super images but mainly for the love scenes between MC and his sister, super hot.

true. what is released is absolutely worth playing. even if it makes me sad that we will never see the end of the story

This AVN can be an example in many areas. For example - "how to destroy a promising project in the dumbest way possible".
This happens 95% of time, absolutely not a surprise. But I can give only few examples of really good looking 3d-rendered projects including this.
I really don't get what went wrong here, he seemed ok with everything and then poof vanished.
No warnings, no outward signs of unhappyness/stress, no (big)hostility from the community.
It just came out of nowhere.
Shame, this was a good project.
He got bored and tired because hobbying such project is super hard. It's happens in 90%+ cases, this is law of nature, only few games will survive. But what I don't understand is why devs just fade instead of "fk you loosers I tired no more updates".

this is just a manifestation of real life. we all pass before each other's eyes - we appear suddenly and disappear just as without warning, sometimes in mid-sentence - and no updates. so you have to treat VN in exactly the same way - as a wonderful meeting with a stranger on the street who illuminates you with the light of her beauty passing by you and leaves you, disappearing in the crowd of passers-by. the end =)

I had this fantasy, that I would look across the tables and I'd see LeFrench there, with a wife and maybe a couple of kids.
He wouldn't say anything to me, nor me to him.
But we'd both know that he'd made it, that he were happy.
I never wanted him to come back to Red Lucy.
I don't know if this help, but I always treat it as some kind of world ending event occur so the game can't be finish.true. what is released is absolutely worth playing. even if it makes me sad that we will never see the end of the story

Another good game ended because it didn't have sponsors.... He wouldn't quit it if he had people funding this game. Kinda sad because if you continue with this venture creating a good game you'll eventually get the revenue. Can't blame him for giving up though... It's a lot of work.

he had 194 patreons at one point. it took him 8 months to release a 70 render update. he did have people funding the game and he decided to quit. people are being increasingly hesitant about supporting devs exactly because of people like LeFrench.
Don't lie, it was a kinda stupid update but the image count was ~ 2500. 80 story pics and 2400 for turntable animation.

so it was 80 renders instead of 70, that is a HUGE difference. i am not even gonna mention you counting the animation frames cause that is pure cope. also while you are defending him keep in mind he didn't give enough of a shit to inform his paying supporters that he is done with it.
