We never know what happens at the end of Joyous Reunion because Barracus' mom announces her arrival, after he just finished fucking Joy and her mom, so we're left at a cliffhanger there, does he smash his mom, he's already seen her get fucked and does she bring her Tauren lover with her? We never know, it just jumps to another story, lot of possibilities that could have happened.
The whole episode is pretty much a master class in how you set up things in a story and then refuse to pay anything off because you are too busy meandering aimlessly in every direction. Just about the only thing I can think of where Auril actually told some kind of story was with the abusive guard that bothers Barracus early on, only to eventually get some kind of comeuppance when the bandits takeover the prison- though even that is pretty weak considering that Barracus has no real input on any of it happening, and is so lazily characterized that he inexplicably decides to help gangrape the warden at the end.
But then you have so many other threads, like Sylvanas and the Worgen she is holding captive. You would think that helping them escape would lead to some kind of revenge, but they just disappear and your only reward is a random scene with Alextrasza that has nothing to do with the Sylvanas/Worgen storyline other than being in the same area.
Or the implication that the goblin brothers have been drugging Joy's mom Alerie with "special" wine; again, she just drinks it and bangs Barracus, which feels like a waste on both ends. It sets up some interesting drama with antagonists in the mix, but never does anything with them... while at the same time taking the least interesting route possible for a Barracus/Alerie scene to happen. The same thing happens with Joy, where the entire motivation of her being kidnapped by pirates just fizzles out when it was all just an excuse for Joy and Barracus to finally fuck.
And the big climax of the episode is Alerie and Joy being threatened with blackmail by the goblins, only to have it ~immediately~ thwarted in one step. In theory, I guess it is supposed to make Barracus seem like their hero who deserves a reward, but it happens so fast and effortlessly that it feels like you could've completely cut the goblins out of the episode and it still would've ended in the same threesome.
