was my first time seeing this game as i visit this site rarely nowadays and after looking at reviews i almost downloaded it.. UNTIL i came to the actual thread and saw the new 'rework' LMAO thank u guys for saving my time and bandwidth
i see where you guys are coming form with the new look, but i dont think its that bad. the eyes do make her look lizard like, MC has the same eyes but its not as bad as hers (could just be that his eyes arent fully open.
I was just thinking about this game the other day and then bam, a new update. But... why did the mom's, uh, I mean Sadie's art need to change? Aside from it being (in my opinion) worse than the original, it also just seems really unnecessary. The art style was what initially drew me (pun intended) to this game in the first place.

I actually like the new look more. Now she does look like a woman in her 30s-40s. With old art Sadie didn't look that way.

I'm not as down on her overall look as I am on 1. Yes, the lizard/cat eyes, 2. The complete change in her facial expressions/demeanor, 3. hair from messy overworked mom with a bowl cut to tousled boy bob 4. The extremely sharp facial lines, which don't really gel with the personality.
She could have been updated without her whole vibe changing, big miss IMO.
