I don't see this very often but the accessibility screen seems to be disabled in that neither a or shift+a brings it up. As I believe this functionality is built into the ren'py framework I'm wondering if maybe the hotkey was changed or there is a toggle somewhere in the code.

I know that you solved your issue by modifying files.
I wasn't a part of MrK's team when this game and its 3 season builds were created using Renpy 7.3.5 or older according to their

. Also, according to Renpy's release notes, the current accessibility menu started using Shift+a as the shortcut in 7.4.8 (released in Aug 2021) when they added the high contrast text. Until then the accessibility menu was using the key "a" as the shortcut from 7.2.2 to 7.4.7.
After downloading all 3 season builds and looking at files in zip files, the first season uses Renpy 7.1.3 and later seasons run in compatibility mode for 7.1.3 using Renpy 7.2.2 (that's what game/script_version.txt is for). So, there might be no accessibility menu at all in these ancient Renpy versions from Nov 2018 and March 2019. I'm guessing here because I didn't run these game builds to answer your question.

Will seasons 2 and 3 be getting remasters?

Probably not. MrK already made RTP's Steam edition that was published in April 2022. See the Steam link in the OP. It has all seasons combined into one but I have no idea how much he changed renders between standalone seasons and it. If you want the answer from him, join his Discord server and ask him there. The link is in the OP.
